Yep. Missus started on a Band 2 which was replaced by a 4 for the better display, then got her a Bip S for the built in GPS.
All still in good working order, don't like to retire them before their time but at least the 4 got handed down to the kids.

Is there a simple way to link this with Strava? Google suggests a few workarounds for Band 5 but can't seem to find one for Band 6.
The 6 I'm on can only sync to Google fit (thus likely to strava). Use the "Mi fit" instead of "xiaomi wear"
Does this version come with the SpO2 sensor?
Yep. It does have the SpO2 sensor.
I'm not sure if it's on demand or continuous though cz I don't use it.

Wish these were compatible with aia vitality.. That's one of the reasons why I'm now considering a garmin after having my mi band 3 for almost 3yrs now. It's been a great band though! It doesn't charge properly now after all this time.. Not sure if it's the band or charger.

Totally agree on this point. It's a basic fitness tracker first (note doesn't have Gps), the other smart stuff not so, but it's not bad for the price.

Going by the video, it’s near useless as a fitness/sleep tracker.
Band has since had a firmware update so possibly improved the accuracy of some sensors.
For the price, I think the band is good. Would be great if it has access to NFC payments.
It seems Miband5 is as good as Miband6 in terms of step counting.
I'm looking for a miband5 then :)holy crap, that's atrocious.. thought "eh if it's out by +/- 15% here or there maybe 30% of the time, who cares". The heart rate sensor can be out by a factor of 2x for a significant amount of time!
What's most concerning, is that inevitably, some people are going to use it to make medical judgements and get it completely wronginteresting channel - subscribed, thanks

not really. Watch the entire video linked above. After watching it, I've decided not to buy it. The fitness measurement accuracy is horrible!

If you are planning to use this as a 24/7 and have an outside / active job, reconsider IMO.
I have lost 2 of the mi band 4 at work due to the pathetic clasp design.
If it is unchanged then I would imagine a lifespan of a few weeks in an active job. If your lucky.

You can also buy nylon bands.
I've lost two of them due to the crappy wrist strap. Don't think I'm willing to try a 3rd.
Yeah I have lost a couple also, one in the surf, can't even remember where the second went. I moved on to an honour band 5, I prefer everything about the Mi band except the strap.

I am in the same situation. Paid twice and I got refunded by PayPal. No reason is given. I was paying the usual way with PayPal with credit card. 3rd time asking me to pay. Not sure what's going on.
Let me know if you figured it out, I tried paying with a small component cash to see if it made a difference and also sent a message to the seller…

Can anyone comment on the sports function, especially basketball? Does it work? Automatically recognise it and start? I have a mi band 3 and it doesn't recognise it

Nice find. I still have my Miband 4 as my daily. It juts won’t break except for the strap so that i will have a reason to upgrade to the 6. 💪🏿
