First time deal poster long time lurker.
I’ve been looking for jack stands for a while to do some maintenance and modifications on my vehicle yet couldn’t justify the prices at RRP. A decent price for a pair to hold 3000kg.
Please be gentle as this is my first post and what seems to be a great deal!!
Why not just use bricks or blocks of wood, $10?

you have more adjustment range with car jacks rather than height based on brick increments, down side of car jack is the small surface they spread weight over so need to locate in right parts of a car so as to not cause damage.
Oh my bad I probably couldn't remember it was long long time ago. May be it was some sort of cashback deal like spend 30+ plus get 5 back or something.

The good thing about buying these from SCA is that if there is a recall they post it on their website.
Of course if the failed while you are under the car you won’t be able read it.

I don't think any SCA jack stands have been recalled? I do know that Harbor Freight ( in the U.S) had to recall some of their jack stands, maybe you're thinking of that?
Both SCA and repco have recalled stands. Repco currently has a banner at the top of their website.
You can also get the 1200kg stands and a 1400kg hydraulic jack for $65
Those 1200kg stands don't look like they would withstand much sideways movement…
I bought some of these and also some ramps from repco which are on special (both 2000kg ramps and low profile 1400kg)
