Yeah, this is what I can't understand about these open space designs… my normal mouse collects crud from my normal gaming (and I'm a clean person!). Hands touch things and sweat, so unless it's washable, why even design something like this!?!
Unless you eat snacks at your desk, the worst it gets is dust and some fluff. You just blow it out with one of those handheld blowers. If you don't already have one its worth getting, both for cleaning out your mouse AND your pc when you're giving it a de dust.
bought this at pax when it first released for $45 and have been very happy with it. Even at $60 this mouse is well worth it.
