Very entertaining videos but your narrative is factually wrong. Because the Aussie player made actual contact with the running italian attacker there is no way to prove that it was a dive even though it certainly could have been. If I recall correctly, the consensus of expert commentary at the time stated just this and also noted that the contact in the box was a cardinal error by the Aussie defender.
Not to say no Italian has ever taken a dive, but as the third video shows, other countries are certainly up there on the freestyle diving leaderboard. By the way, I was backing Australia who made a magnificent effort and were so close to going through .
