Extra Large Apex Roof Walk-in Garden Greenhouse $40 + Delivery (Crazysales)

110

Was looking around for a greenhouse and came across this sale on crazysales. Price $40 + shipping. Postage to Sydney was $10.50. Total for me came to $50.51

Initially they were selling these for $66.45 and the lowest price on ebay is $98 delivered.

Great bargain for the green thumbs.

Other great deals on greenhouses too.

You'd want to peg that thing down well, otherwise the next time there's a decent storm it may become your neighbours new greenhouse.

    • taken into consideration already,

  • Nice one , was just looking at getting one . Thanks Op

Love the note - shouldnt be used "under extreme weather conditions." (should read anywhere near AU or NZ!!).

  • And the rest of the note:
"We do not recommend use for a prolonged period of time or under extreme weather conditions."

    What's a prolonged period of time? 1 week? 1 month? 1 year?

I don't know if this is a good or bad bargain. Good if it lasts 10 years, bad if it lasts only a couple and contributes to landfill afterwards.

  • Good if it lasts 10 years

It won't, but the good news is the frame will rust away rather than becoming landfill.

These things do have have their uses for those who don't live in windy (/breezy?)or humid areas (they rust away VERY quickly in the latter.) For those in cold climates they can be helpful for getting vegie seedlings etc started early, or if you're going away you can pop the pot plants in there to stop them drying out so quickly.

Just don't trust the shelves to hold much weight.

It's a good price for what they are.
