A good price for the 30cm, not far off the lowest it's been but far better than it's been recently!
Have a 26cm and love it, it can go in the dishwasher with ease!

The Tefal factory
In France or China?
Your guess is as good as mine
@spackbace: I was thinking to buy one until I saw this review "Yea it says on the packing not suitable for induction".
yes
Won't work with induction cooktops.
Got any recommendations for something similar for induction?
Woolworths arcosteel or mint. Cheap and great
I bought the mint brand from Woolworths, although it works, it doesn't get hot as fast (compared to a Tefal) brand and requires a higher setting on the induction stove. This might be due to a lesser amount of ferrous metal in the frypan base.
@haz: True. Maybe also the pattern on the surface, ridges etc. I prefer the arcosteel
Bought a carbon steel pan from this deal, its now well seasoned, it will last for a lifetime.
I bought a tefal 30cm frying pan for $25 at coles, good quality
Would be the plastic handle one, not the metal (I'm guessing)
Gourmet frypan? What's so gourmet about them?
Perfectly designed for fryingng gourmets.
My comment from an earlier deal:
Yes, they've been cheaper before - but I'm buying another (26cm) at this price.
My 'daily driver' too and in use for 18 months - only just starting to show the signs of abuse - and still fully functional. Goes from stovetop to oven and the cooking surface is still in good shape. Well worth the extra few dollars over other short-lived non-stick pans.
And yes, I've worked in some pretty serious kitchens - these Tefal pans work well without the maintenance issues that come with iron pans that don't get the constant use of a commercial kitchen.
Buy, use, enjoy.
I've also got a 30cm version - but I only use it when I need the extra real estate. The 26cm version is easier to handle (incl flick tossing pan contents when you can avoid using tools in the pan) and also more closely matches the footprint on the largest element on our electric cooktop - that helps for faster heat up and easier to maintain frying temperature.
Unless I'm missing something, the 30cm is also $49.99 from HouseOnline (via Amazon) w free delivery.
Thanks for the post OP!
Where are they made?
