  The solar really doesn't seem worth the price increment. If you doing a multi-day walk long enough for it to be needed, you are probably carrying a powerbank which you could recharge with.

    It's not even useful for that, if it's in GPS logging mode it hardly adds anything.

    The solar is more for if you disable everything and just use it as a clock. Which would probably go forever.

    It would be a much more useful feature to add wireless charger support. Or standard USBC. Or even just side access port.

  Bought The Fenix 6 Sapphire instead for only $584 + cashback … Sapphire is much better value than solar IMO… Thx OP anyway ..

    I second this. I owned a Fenix 6 Pro Solar. Wish I would have bought the Sapphire version… the Solar doesn't make a big different for me
