  yeah, it must be at least 40a for a 12mm "clean cut", and must be a 15a plug as well that they have not mentioned
  
  i cannot find any details on the duty cycle on the aldi one, anyone know?

Will a 15 amp plug work in a regular domestic socket? Or is the ground plug too large?

How amp is the aldi unit?
