Starts June 7.

In order to qualify for an Amazon.com.au Gift Card, you must be one of the first eligible 35,000 customers to use (minimum purchase $40 in a single order) or save as default a valid non-expired debit card, Master Card, American Express, Union Pay, or Zip account on amazon.com.au between 12:01am (AEST) on 7 June 2021 and 11:59PM (AEST) on 23 June 2021 (“Qualifying Criteria”). If you are a Prime customer and meet the Qualifying Criteria, you will receive a $25 Amazon.com.au Gift Card. If you are not a Prime customer and meet the Qualifying Criteria, you will receive a $15 Amazon.com.au Gift Card. Customers are only eligible for this offer if they were served an advertisement or received an email from Amazon for this offer. Items must be purchased in a single order. Offer only applies to customer orders on Amazon.com.au (via desktop, mobile browser or the Amazon Shopping App), excluding digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Prime video and audible, gift wrapping and postage or delivery rates. Delivery charges and taxes will apply to the full value of the order. Delivery fees and gift wrap charges do not apply when determining minimum purchase amount. The minimum purchase amount is the amount after any promotional discounts have been applied. Please ensure that you meet these offer requirements by checking the purchase order details. Offer is not valid if the order is cancelled or any item or item(s) from the order are returned causing the total order amount to fall below the required minimum purchase amount. If any of the products purchased to qualify for this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies. The Amazon.com.au Gift Card will automatically be added to qualifying Amazon accounts within 30 days of the customer satisfying the Qualifying Criteria for this offer. Customers can view their Amazon.com.au Gift Cards here. All Amazon.com.au Gift Cards are subject to the Amazon.com.au Balance and Amazon.com.au Gift Card Terms and Conditions. Your Amazon.com.au Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services on Amazon.com.au and its associated applications. Amazon.com.au Gift Cards carry no fees and do not expire. Gift Cards are automatically applied to eligible orders upon checkout. If you would rather not use your Gift Card, you can deselect it in the Payment Selection step of checkout. Amazon.com.au Gift Cards cannot be transferred to other accounts.
This promotional offer is valid for a limited time only or while supplies last. Offer limited to one Amazon.com.au Gift Card per amazon.com.au customer account. Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time without notice. If a customer violates any of these terms, the offer will be invalid, and any Gift Card issued will be invalidated. This offer may not be resold, is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and is void where prohibited by law and in case of fraud. This offer may not be combined with other offers. The maximum benefit a customer may receive from this offer is $25. Offer ends at 11:59 PM (AEST) on 23 June 2021 and is valid while stocks last.

if I already have a saved card, can I
    1. Simply add another random debit card, or
    2. Unsave it today and add it back when the deal starts, or
    3. Both works, or
    4. Account already ineligible?

    • +5

      Yeah so confusing

    • +28

I think the most important thing is you receive an email (be targeted for this promo).

      • +4

How to be one of the targeted ones, that is the question

        • +4

          Inactive accounts?

  • +1

It's funny because the terms and conditions state that non prime members will get a $15 gift card and the end date hasn't been specified.
Also, only valid for the first 35,000 customers.

Offer is available for the first 35,000 eligible customers who, between 12:01am (AEST) on [7 June 20201] and 11:59PM (AEST) on [INSERT] 2021, use (minimum purchase $40 in a single order) or save as default a valid non-expired debit card, Master Card, American Express, Union Pay, or Zip payment method on Amazon.com.au (“Qualifying Criteria”). If you are a Prime customer and meet the Qualifying Criteria, you will receive a $25 Amazon.com.au Gift Card. If you are not a Prime customer and meet the Qualifying Criteria, you will receive a $15 Amazon.com.au Gift Card. Offer limited to one Amazon.com.au Gift Card per amazon.com.au customer account.

  • link is dead ?

  • +15

Removed all my payment methods just in case haha

    • I did the same. Just in case

    • +10

Same. This targeted offer might have unintended consequences for Amazon.

  • I removed my Amex to see if it works to add it back

  • Thanks for the reminder - I was served the ad about sending an item to the Amazon hub, don't remember seeing any email/code appear since. Will check with them.

  • So my understanding is 2 choices of 1) Making a qualified payment $40 or more
Or 2) Save a qualifying payment ( the best choice no purchase required )

  • Seems this is in preparation of Prime day. To boost prime membership. Worth it.

  • I get a message after clicking on the link and get this message "Sorry. This offer is not available to you at this time." for this offer (Prime Member).

It would seem you need the targeted email thought.

    • between 12:01am (AEST) on 7 June 2021

It's not the 7th of June today.

      • The other one linked in OP is live and has the same message.

        • The other one has nothing to do with this one. That one is open, this is not, so.bo matter what anyone does with this one, they aren't getting jack at the moment.

  • +1

Sorry. This offer is not available to you at this time.

    BOOOOOOOOOO :(

    • I didnt get any email. But im not getting this message either. At what point are you getting this message. Is it through your email link or through the OZB link?

      • +1

        OzB link

      • +1

OzB link. I have 2 CC linked in my Amazon account.

        • +2

          I've got 1 card linked.
I blame my wife for not receiving this offer, she shops on there too much!

      • I have 2 CC connected both visa so i got the offer working without the email. My friend, he got a master debit connected. And its not working for him

    • between 12:01am (AEST) on 7 June 2021 and 11:59PM (AEST) on 23 June 2021 ??

      • Time doesnt matter. The future offer should just show up if u follow the link.

  • Got the

    'Sorry Message Too"

    • Get sure you are logged in before. I got the first message that I’m not eligible, too. Then I logged in Amazon and ticked the OZB link again and it says now I am eligible.

      • I'm always logged in on Amazon, still showing ineligible. So as per title most likely targeted

  • Sorry. This offer is not available to you at this time.

  • awesome, but who here got targetted? Not i :(

  • +1

Lol at all the people who can't read the multiple times where it says it's not yet valid.

    between 12:01am (AEST) on 7 June 2021

OPs post even says "in 5 days*.

    • @Danielthegerman ????

      • Yes, I used the other deal which is already valid. Please see original post. I permanently order with Amazon, so I will place another order and do same again in 5 days for this deal.

    • +1

The other one linked in OP is live and has the same message. So yes targetted as per title

Comment above says they are eligible

      • Yep, the fact that it's targetting has also been mentioned a couple of times.

    • -3

They can have a crack at the other one though .

  • Deleting all my CCs on my prime account. So hopefully I'll get the email in 5 days.

  • Offer is available for the first 35,000 eligible customers who, between 12:01am (AEST) on [7 June 20201] and 11:59PM (AEST) on [INSERT] 2021, use (minimum purchase $40 in a single order) or save as default a valid non-expired debit card, Master Card, American Express, Union Pay, or Zip payment method on Amazon.com.au (“Qualifying Criteria”). Amazon can't get thier shit together

    • -5

I know its hard for people to understand but one of the links is current for $20 Prime Members now and lower amount for non Prime .
Dealbot deal is in the future .
      BTW 5 of my account have qualified . X amount didn't .

      • Are they all to the same address?
        Different name and email?
Thinking of getting a new one to get Prime trial.

  • -3

    !remind me

  • So I can see this message on my account and gives me the option to update account. If I update payment method now than I won't be eligible I think. Have to wait to add till 7 June

  • Now, I have to make several more accounts (to also activate prime) to have them ready for the day !

  • Deleted all my CCs on my account. Hoping to be targetted. Don’t think I’ve ever gotten any targetted offers before…

  • Interesting…fingers crossed I get targeted then

  • +12

Not eligible for the deal. Deleted all my payments methods in protest.

    • lol same

  • Yep, not eligible at this time! Shame!

  • +1

Is there an account setting to enable to receive marketing emails? I can’t seem to find this option anywhere?

    • +1
    • They told me that the promotion was "system generated" so not everyone would have got this email anyways unfortunately. Pretty cut as a prime member myself.

  • Deleted all my payment method.

  • I had to chase up amazon in the past to get them to fulfill the promotions, they are not very helpful

  • +3

"Sorry. This offer is not available to you at this time because you are a loyal customer"

  • +1

Has anyone actually received an email?

  • Any idea if it works if you sign up now as a free trial member?

  • -1

    !remindme 7-June-21 12:01AM

  • i didnt receive email but got advert - however its $20 GC (prime member)
update - offer period is for 24th May to 6th June

  • +1

It says "Customers are only eligible for this offer if they were served an advertisement or received an email from Amazon for this offer. Items must be purchased in a single order."
So does this mean it's targeted?

    • Same question, the terms are a bit vague.

    • Yes. One of their reps Shiva told me the promotion was "system generated" so it was targeted.

    • If you are browsing items on amazon, you might see a small banner advertising this promotion. Even if you did not receive an email from amazon, I believe this banner is considered "serving a adversiement". Best to take a screen shot of it; as you have to contact them to get your voucher.

  • So i delete the payment method and then add it back on 7-June?

  • +1

Sorry. This offer is not available to you at this time.
Looking for low prices? Discover new deals everyday.

  • does this work for Visa debit cards?

  • Side note - can you use multiple gift cards to purchase something from Amazon?

    • +1

Unlimited, gift cards are added to your balance, not to order.

  • I'm confused - should the post title say $15 instead of $10?

  • +8

Very confusing… And who the hell would have a Prime membership with no card attached…?

  • +1

Hmm might be worth to contact support to clear this up.

    • I contacted support and they simply said "the promotion was system generated so emails were sent at random"

  • +6

Got "served" the ad by clicking "Prime Day is June 21 & 22" on the top right of the amazon.com.au home page. Ad was about 2/3 of the way down.
    Started 1 June - T&Cs updated - "between 12:01am (AEST) on 1 June 2021 and 11:59PM (AEST) on 22 June 2021"

    • I clicked on the same and got Spend $29 or More and Get $10 Amazon Credit When Starting a 30-Day Free Amazon Prime Trial.
I have previously had a free trial on my account over a year ago.

      • I also had a free trial about a year ago and clicked on the banner but only got offered a free trial no free money.

        • Try clicking through the amazon app. I saw it on my app but not web browser

    • No ad for me :(

  • +1

I cannot believe that they just change the start date to 1st June without any highlights or notifications. I do not even notice that until I made a purchase. What a mess :)

    • mee too … was rechecking the 1 June start date in T&C numerous times lolz

  • Thanks OP

  • So I’m not one of the lucky targeted people ;(

    • Me either

      • +1

It’s a discrimination of some type I think. There needs to be an investigation into this. I feel soo left out and cold

  • So it is definitely targetted?

  • I just toggled default card. Doubt it works, but low-effort attempt.

  • +1

Just contacted customer service via chat and mentioned this. Gentlement called Mark, is happy to give $10. Thanks

    • +1

You're lucky, not all Amazon customer service reps are that accomodating.

  • Checked Amazon website, no banner ads, even in incognito mode.
Clicked link - I'm not eligible (and I had deleted my card earlier hoping I'd get the offer)

Oh well, I suppose I'm buying from fleabay for a while.

    • ok sure go ahead if you think they have a better range and better price and better postage

    • I am about to purchase a few items and would like to purchase from eBay as I have a surplus of the GC's but been fought out where the goods are stated to be in Aust but take over 33 months to arrive. As I need them soon I rather buy them from Amazon.

  • No! Offer not available to you! I have Prime membership boohoo

  • I saw it on the front page but T&S said start from 1June and I bought something on 3June over $40 with registered CC payment method.

Not sure will I get gift card?

Chat said start from 7June and only items sold by Amazon AU.

Not the same as in T&S I saw.

Anyone can confirm what start date you saw the OP link?

  • +1

I clicked the link above and it said I was not eligible HOWEVER I signed up to prime this morning (had expired on another account) just made a purchase and added my card and just now received this email:

We’re delighted to let you know that you used or saved as default a qualifying payment method during a recent Amazon.com.au promotion (7 - 22 June). If you are a Prime customer and the Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) of the promotion are fulfilled, a $25 Amazon.com.au Gift Card will be applied directly to your Amazon.com.au account within 30 days of you qualifying for the offer. If you are not a Prime customer and the T&Cs of the promotion are fulfilled, a $10 Amazon.com.au Gift Card will be applied directly to your Amazon.com.au account within 30 days of you qualifying for the offer.

This is limited to the first 35,000 eligible customers who qualified for the offer. Offer limited to one Amazon.com.au Gift Card per Amazon.com.au customer account. You will receive an email notification once the Gift Card balance has been updated.

  • Yippy - i get a 25 dollar gift card i think - We’re delighted to let you know that you used or saved as default a qualifying payment method during a recent Amazon.com.au promotion (7 - 22 June).
