  I recently learned that everybody I know, including me, has been playing Uno differently to the rules.

  We've always played first person to get rid of their cards is the winner.

  The rules are that the person who gets rid of their cards first scores points based on what other people have left in their hands. You then keep playing rounds and scoring until somebody reaches 500 points. That person is the winner.

  The points associated with each card change the way you play them. If you think you're going to lose the round but you're not sure, do you risk holding on to that Wild card that might get you the win but could also hand your opponent 50 points?
