Beats Studio3 Wireless Noise-Cancelling over-Ear Headphones (Blue Only) $349 + Delivery ($100 off) @ Mac Choice

41

Hey guys! Looked around and couldn't see any great deals on Beats so I thought I'd give one a go. I managed to snag a few dozen Beats Studio3 in blue and knocked a couple of pineapples off the RRP. If it's popular (and my ego remains intact after the comments section) I'll do more Apple and Beats products.

    • Some inconsistency there from Apple :) I use the Solo Pro myself and they charge via lightning.

      • yes, Solo pro uses lightning, while studio 3 use micro usb :(

Not making accusations, but ask them for the part number to see what country they're really from :)

      • $299 delivered at Amazon AU
        MQ572PA/A looks like Aust MPN…

      • Not making accusations

Tru, you're casting aspersions which is like a dishonest or indirect accusation :)

        • You're right - it's a comment I probably should not have made. And at the risk of more negs I'll at least explain why I made it relevant to sellers in general that have these amazing Apple deals, rather than specifically aimed at that seller alone.

          1. In Australia, there are 3 Apple distributors. Only one of those can supply Beats, AirPods, iPhone, and Watches. The prices are very stable for current stock and whilst there's volume discounts these don't amount to being able to sell Apple things at 40% or more off. Ever. At those kinds of prices the stock simply is not Australian. I've taken a bit of a bath to drop these by a hundred, do the sums on the ebay price, then take off 1/11 for GST, 13% for fees, then $10 shipping.
          2. To buy Apple from any distributor you need to be an authorised reseller. These are not handed out like candy, and there's a lot of effort to achieve it, and keep it. We've had it for nearly 20 years as a bricks and mortar store and I can say with certainty there's not a lot of us left.
          3. If you are an authorised reseller, you can't sell on eBay or other online Marketplaces without getting your status pulled (The big box guys seem to be an exception - Officeworks, Harvey Norman, JB Hifi etc can do whatever they want it seems). If you're an authorised reseller, I can't imagine you'd risk it.

So I guess my attempt at humour came across differently because I wasn't so much making an accusation as pointing out what I thought to be really obvious about grey market imports.

Nonetheless, I like a good bargain myself, and people SHOULD shop around and get the best deal they can. As long as they know the full story, and how that might impact them.

Carry on with the roasting :)

Beat used to be overhyped shit and now is slowly being killed by Apple.

  • People still buy beats? for that price you could get a real pair of headphones from sony or bose.

  • Why buy this when WH1000XM3 AND XM4 Exist at same or lower price

    • Interestesting reason for a neg?
