1/2 Price VIP Membership $12.50 (Was $25) @ The Coffee Club

300
2021VIP1250

I missed the last half off deal and was emailed a code for $5 off (2021VIP20). The last code ended in 1250 so I changed the code to 2021VIP1250 for testing purposes and got 50% off. No idea on expiry. Ozbargain won't let me upload screenshot of website confirming the deal, I'll try add to the comments. Note the link will go to the home page and not the deal.

Edit - proof of code working

  • Since VIP members get free upsize, what do they base their price on? Small?

You can (also) get 2 for 1 for many hot and cold drinks.
Order 1 large, get 2 large.

      • So either upsize or 2 for 1? Can't get both on the same order?

Pay for 1 small, get 2 small or 1 large.
Pay for 1 large, get 2 large.
Interpret that as an upsize if you wish.

          • @chrism238: how do i claim this offer, just scan the code?

  • Was able to use it for my renewal as well… went into change membership kept it as annually, applied coupon and it said I’d be charged $12.50 on my renewal date. Golden! Thanks!

    • Can yph lest the steps i tried and it doesnt have anywhere to apply code

I'm surprised they're legally allowed to call their beverages 'coffee' and not, say, 'tepid caffeinated swill'.

  • Thanks OP, was just about up for renewal.

Looks like they've changed the renewal system now, to a 'card on file' (Stripe) automatic renewal plan. So if you renew via this method, you now are forced to select a plan going forward (e.g. $3 per month, or $25 annual plan), before you finish the check-out. Your credit card will go on record, for the renewal to happen in 12 months time (or for the monthly payments, if you chose that).

    So if you don't remember in a year's time / haven't set a reminder, you'll be auto-charged the going annual rate (e.g. currently $25).

Instead, you'll need to cancel the membership (within the VIP Portal) before the renewal date, and then renew / pay again, with another discount coupon code :-)
(cancellations are now possible in the VIP Portal — just checked — the option is now there, once you've signed up for a plan).

"you'll need to cancel the membership (within the VIP Portal) before the renewal date, and then renew / pay again, with another discount coupon code"

Just remember to spend any loyalty points you've accumulated, else they'll be lost and inaccessible from the account.

  • Thanks chrism238. I should have said, "cancel the membership auto-renewal". That way, all it's cancelling is the $25 (or whatever price) auto-renewal on your credit card. That way, you shouldn't lose the loyalty points. They might add a new rule about "your VIP account must be in credit" or similar; not having an active (credit) membership, is a sure-fire way to loose any accumulated loyalty points.

But of course, it's probably worth using them up before hand, just in case, since this is a new system, and we should be maximising our point usage while they are there!

You can spend your loyalty points once they hit $5…
