Thanks for the link, added more info in the description. Doing it via phone so kinda slow

  • Picture in here shows outdoor furniture. Hmmmm.

  • That's $96 dollars of batteries alone - at the discount price!!

  • Shows as $100 when i open the link. Maybe someone can use a screenshot of that to price match?

Some in O’conner, but came up as full price $249. Still seems like a good value

      • Damn! Went there this morn and could only see the 3 piece set (drill, driver, grinder). Thanks for letting me know though.

No worries, they still had a few when I grabbed mine around lunch time. You’ll need to ask someone in the tool shop to grab them as they were on top of the shelves

  • Not the best heavy duty products. Only for Basic or DIY tools

    • +4

I’ve been using their drill and hammer drill and find it decent enough for DIY use , if you are a tradesman, then you need to go with dewalt / ryobi/ Mikita etc
Depends on how much you wish to spend as they will cost $1200/$500/$1100 for either of the brands
You get what you pay, all you need is to understand your use and purchase accordingly.

  • I thought someone posted here that Bunnings were pulling out of stocking Ozito products?

    • +2

Not sure about this, but if it is true, then more ozito deals are in pipeline :)

    • Source?

Seeing as Bunnings is the only place that sells Ozito, that would surprise me

I got my kit here in ACT for $149. Was labeled as $199 but the Bunnings manager discounted it to clear their stock. The 2x 4Ah batteries plus compact fast charger are worth $170 alone. So it’s worth asking for a further discount. Fantastic deal!

  • Just bought one from Bunnings Nunawading. There are 6 more left in stick. Please ask the staff at tools section if you can't see any on the shelf.

    • What price did you get at Nunawading?

  • We also got this kit for $149 a year ago but it was the last one in our Bunnings (up high in the tool section).

Worth noting the battery doesn't fit in the detail sander with the extraction bracket in. You either need to buy the smaller battery (2.0Ah) , or take off the black bracket where you catch the extractions to fit the 4.0Ah and just deal with any mess after the fact. It's the only down side to the kit at that price.

    • 2.5Ah battery also fits - it's pretty common in a other packs and skin+battery deals.

Used this for two house renovations, can confirm it doesnt mind getting a beating.

    • Drill driver not hammer does most of the work for pilot holes.
    • Impact driver get an impact bit masonry bit for concrete etc works well
    • Angle grinder i suggest getting the makita 100mm corded grinder for cutting, use this grinder to clean up cuts burrs etc works well. Saves effort from swapping blades
    • Circular saw cuts H2 pine for framing
    • Sander well it works..

Recently I was able to hang gyprock bout 35 sheets do redo nearly 4 wonky walls and do two bathrooms - Villa board with cement fibre screws
5 year replacement warranty is the on the plus side. A few days ago replaced the impact driver I think too much gyprock dust got in there.

I am also on the Makita Platform. I use Makita more for finishing work More control on the speed etc.

    • That’s an awesome review! Thanks, buddy!

I can also confirm that the reviews of the German brand Einhell (the manufacturer of Ozito) has brilliant ratings in Europe.

  • Still have 6 units left in Preston

  • 3 left at Preston at 9am Sunday at $199

    Anyone else getting this?

      • Ahh ok. Can't see any withint 100km from Brissie so but be a southern sale.

  • Hi all
