do you honestly have nothing better to do than troll other peoples businesses. surely you started out as a nice person

        • +4

Cry me a river lol you came to a bargain website offering up a product which was overpriced..

What did you expect would happen?!

          • -2

@spackbace: i didnt expect to be abused

            • +5

@[Deactivated]: Criticism is not abuse. Learn from it, and come back with a deal (as the site is intended). This is a platform that can generate sales if used correctly.

            • +7

@[Deactivated]: Abuse?! By saying you're overpriced?

Wow that's offensive to anyone that's actually been abused

        • +1

OP, what you should say instead is:

I'm sorry, I'll do better next time

  • No, just no.

Does this work on analog meat?

    • These are wired tho

          Stock: RU CN DE STOCK

          • @spackbace: You can't be competitive drop shipping unless you turn over a significant amount, have very low margins or gullible clientele.

However, they're creating local produce that they can be competitive with. If they want to make more money, increase their local supply/demand on something that they can control.

I don't know how competitive the industry is. Maybe the overheads of their produce is too much and they need to diversify. All I know, is I want some local good quality cheap meat :D

            • +1

@rompastompa: It does seem a weird thing to offer. You'd think the margins in this drop-shipped stuff just wouldn't make it worth the hassle. Customers would think it was local, and then have to wait weeks upon weeks for something from China, and you'd cop all the hassle for it

              • +1

@spackbace: Maybe NBN finally reached them and they're exploring this new internet thing ;)

      • Click on the other things they sell. BUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Overpriced beef packs, BUT WAIT. They also do Livestock delivery, BUT WAIT, they have recipes as well.

  • Nice try Aliexpress dropshipper

  • Cheaper on eBay, also with free delivery..

my very first week of trailing different things

Trying not to be negative, but did you research this site and it's target audience? This isn't an advertising forum, unless you have a bargain. You also need to develop trust on your store before savvy shoppers will buy from you.

      Have you read the FAQ/guidelines?

You have no ABN listed, do you collect GST? There is no business information, only a feedback form and your free anonymous outlook email. I'd also recommend you registering a .com.au domain as that will develop a little more trust.

      Edit: Ahh, found your ABN.

      This is OzBargain not OzTryNewStuff.

Come back when you've actually got a deal for us.

Judging by the way you communicate with potential customers, karma will very soon come to your business indeed!

      • -3

if you were potential customers you wouldnt be nasty or negative

        • +3

I am a potential customer as it is a product I have been looking at buying. Your conduct in the comments after being called out for a bad deal turns me off from ever buying from your business.

        • +3

I, and many others, would have loved to be your customer. Perhaps you should do a good deal on some nice scotchies that you're actually making, rather than dropshipping Chinese items.

You'll find it a great marketing tool if you're 100% Australian, have a decent product that's cheap. The majority of butcher deals aren't available in WA, so there's a hole here you can exploit (again, if you've got a good product that's cheap!)

If you want to pay for some marketing, I can point you in the right direction ;)

          • +1

@rompastompa: We are registered for gst. I have been running for 6 good years and I am currently trialling new options. And had really no idea how this site works tbh I think it's a very intimidating sales tool

            • @[Deactivated]: Marketing can be difficult to know where/how to advertise. As mentioned, there's a place here if you've got the product and price range. There's also plenty of other avenues available too, if you look in the right places! You've got to spend money to make money!

    • Just what did you expect to hear?
Surely, if the same product you are selling is cheaper elsewhere there is no reason to purchase it from you.
That's what people are trying to tell you.

  • +3

The price has magically dropped from $70 to $58 in 15 minutes 🤣

  • +5

Mate your deal is dead. Doesn't matter if you drop it from $70 to $58. With the negative votes, it is now hidden from the deals page.
Better luck next time. Best to do your research before posting. If you post a rubbish "bargain", expect to be dealt with appropriately. Your response and attitude is extremely poor form. Take this onboard as a learning experience instead of attacking people. You will quickly get a reputation as a business that should be avoided if you always deal with potential customers like you have.

  • +3

I could understand if you had actually ordered in bulk and were shipping these from Australia but its shipping from either Spain or China so you're obviously just ordering from Aliexpress et al. and pocketing the difference. Maybe next time just purchase some Facebook ads rather than posting on a bargain website expecting people to be accommodating for your blatant dropshipping.

Have 3 BBQs, I bought the Inkbird IBT-4XC ebay deal earlier, this would have been another addition when I don't want to get the Inkbird out. But F$ck your busines if that's how you communicate with people. On top of being nothing more than a dropshipper.

    • +1

Why would you even consider buying a never heard of product?

Inkbird make good products. So does thermoworks (thermapen & thermopop).

There's a lot of junk thermometers out there, I have a very short list of good ones for a good reason.

      • Like a good Ozbargainer. Would have done some research before buying it. If it didn't pass muster, would have passed.

Why is everyone here so nasty to a disabled user?
