Have been monitoring some lenovo laptops for a while and seems like a good price for the specs. As of yesterday they had the laptop only for $1259 which is no longer available, but for an extra $30 this bundle Includes a Lenovo legion gaming keyboard and mouse (better deal IMO).

    Can also get the laptop on it's own for $1215 @ Lenovo eBay using PLENV20 for those that prefer. Might be good for those that don't have education access.

    Why not spend a few hundred more and get the Dell laptop with the 5600M? Much better graphics card. The 1650ti is not enough for anything serious.

          If you look at some of the past Dell "gaming" laptop deals on ozbargain, they are a complete mess and don't seem to be suitable for gaming. The only people that seem happy with theirs is after spending insane amounts of time fiddling with drivers/software/settings and even then they only liked it because it was cheap.

        I bought one 6 months ago and I haven't had any issues with it. No overheating and no driver problems. I play top games on it and even mine some ethereum on it but to each their own. I'm sure the 1650ti is a great card for playing Tetris and minesweeper..

    got mine delivered yesterday. just upgraded from ASUS N56VM (got in 2013 and upgraded the hdd to ssd).
    other than a flimsy screen in the legion, it is great. it is a bit on the heavy side.
