  • Interesting phone and good waterproof rating. Not sure about Mediatek processors.

For the target market and the price of the product, I don't think it really matters. Yes a snapdragon may offer better performance but at $200? I bought a similar rugged phone (Umidigi Bison) and love it, comparing it to a full price flagship with a snapdragon you will be disappointed, but it also costs like 20% as much.

      • It will never be updated though and MediaTek are dodgy about source code.

        • Does the tradie who this is marketed to really care about those things?

Had a few of this brand before, and two of them play protect flagged some apps out of the box as suspicious and removed them. Have since stayed away, which is a shame because they're very solidly built. Just wish they came with Android one! This was a few years back however.

    • Pretty easy fool proof process to remove any built in apps on Android, but I understand your worry!

  • Bought one of these ulefone recently and the camera didn't work DOA - banggood are shocking at after sales support… be warned.
