The cheapest price it's been according to Camelcamelcamel, except when it briefly touched $49.95 two years ago.
Keeps water hot. Good for winter.

No, you don't. But I want a Thermos that is one handed in operation and refilling. This is the only one that does both. Why? Because it's my money and I want to pay that much for it. The other Thermos I have requires two hands and sometimes I'm just a lazy bastard.
In case you mind, it's made in China, not Japan.
Thanks! I bought this this model instead. Made in Japan, $39.95 but only 1L.
I bought this one $55. I think made in Japan and is vacuum-insulated glass inside.

Elephant crew represent!
What I’d like to know is, is Tiger better than elephant? Or is it the other way round?
I’ve used both and both are damn good products.
I think Zojirushi is better but this is my personal opinion. I've used the same vacuum flask for years as my everyday water bottle and its faultless.
I asked a Japanese friend at work who told me.
Tiger is best/no 1 in Japan for rice cooker.
ZOJIRUSHI is best/no 1 in Japan for thermal jug/ keep warm
How long would this keep things hot for? I usually boil once a day for baby formula and manage to last for 24 hours.
72.7°C @ 10 hrs. / 57.5°C @ 24 hrs starting at a water temperature of 95°C at a room temperature of 20°C, according to their website
Why does this show $52.28 + $16.92 Delivery for me?
Is this deal expired?
You're right, it has expired. I'll mark it as such. Gone up to $84.86 from Amazon AU now.
The $52.28 price is from Amazon US it appears.
They're good at making rice cookers. You don't need to pay this price for a decent working carafe
