If you're looking for a stabilized camera I'd go for the GoPro Hero 9 with Max lens mod. Soooo smooth for both hiking and MTB.

Hiking, yes, they're much better than a gopro or such, because the mechanical gimbal isn't affected by low light conditions like being inside a canopy or a cave or even just filming at dusk.
Mountain biking though? I don't think I'd put the poor little gimbal through that much hell; 2 very different use cases IMO.

I am contemplating this together with the expansion kit or just going with the Pocket 2 Combo kit instead… I just cant decide what's better, they both end up around similar amounts of money (give or take, depending on the deals at the time). I'm particularly interested in the wireless control and transfer, which both kits essentially have (albeit different designs and features such as the do-it-all handle having a 3.5mm headphone jack and external speaker I think I read, and the other wireless module doesn't).
Anyone have experience with both the combo kit and the expansion kit and have some insights on which they'd choose if they could only have one?
Can you buy the combo kit as 'a kit' separately? I can only find the do-it all handle and wireless mic being sold separately online…
The DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo @ $717.42 is a better buy imho, Definitely need the wide angle lens and if you look at how much that is alone then combo price is great.
Anyone know if these are any good for recording hiking and mountain biking?
