thx op just in need of some
Brought the 30pk last time, came broken package and battery everywhere. Read the review, it is common. Seller is Amazon au. Would not buy again.
Well to be honest, have always had great customer service from Amazon compared to other retailers, pretty sure there would have been a resolution if they were made aware of the issue. Maybe it’s been my luck too….
Bought like 6 of these with no issues :)
How much better are these than say the Kodak which are like half the price?
Don’t get the kodak loll
Finished in a day for me on a airpump.
More like a 1 hr use.
how is the quality of this one compare to varta?

Can't speak for Energizer MAX, but can for Varta Alkaline. Like most of us, for me disposable batteries are a grudge buy, but when I do I want reliability, consistency, non-leakage subject to reasonable application and renewal, and reasonable longevity all at as low a reasonable price as I can source. Varta have ticked all those boxes for me. Made in German probably has something to do with it. We consistently buy and use Varta 9v, AA & AA which I use in all sort of Alkaline devices. e.g. Dymo LetraTag, guitar pedals, e-acoustic guitar pre-amps, wall clocks, UltraFire SK68 torches when the 14500s are recharging or flat, mice & keyboards, They last well. I've been well satisfied with them in any application where a AA or AAA 1.2V eneloop or eneloop Pro isn't viable. Not worth spending more on Duracell or Eveready CEO's bonuses.

I have yet to see any rechargeable leak, and I have over 100 of them. Despite only owning a few disposables (that came bundled with devices) I have seen several leak over the years. That should tell you something.
The rechargeable 'self-discharge' (ie. losing charge when in storage) problem has basically been solved for the past 15 years or so (since eneloop).
I see some argument about some items not working with rechargeables. I'd really love to know which ones they are. I use them heaps and haven't come across one that doesn't work as intended in all manner of devices.
Readily apparent to anyone not comprehension encumbered I wasn't referring to rechargables such as eneloops leaking, but alkalines. e.g. Aldi alkalines will sweat and leak. You should take the time to read the comment entire before responding.
LSDs? Whether original Japanese Sanyo eneloops since rebranded Panasonic and now of Chinese and Japanese (Pro) manufacture all of which I have dozens and use regularly, They are great, but like all AA and AAA rechargables, the cells are 1.2V nominal not the 1.5V of Alkalines. Not all devices are 1.2V cell friendly. Just because your experience is narrow to not have realised it yet doesn't render it = false. i.e. untrue. In some devices, especially those requiring multiple cells in series designed/intended to operate on Alkalines, oftimes 1.2V LSDs won't power them near as well under load.
In any case, my point was Varta alkalines = good IMPE. Paying more for Energizer MAX alkalines => no for me. OMMV.
Price matching Big W. Pity they're not still $8.75.
