Greetings everyone, Amazon have matched the Big W clearance on this pack and this can be combined with their currenty S&S coupon to bring it down to an awesome price.

Original price is $12.50, however stack with 10% S&S and then clip the coupon on the product page to get a further 20% off. Total comes to $8.75.

Update: AAA 24 pack is Currently out of stock
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07N1TG3YN?m=ANEGB3WVEVKZB

Note: You need to click the clipped coupon on the product page and it will apply a 20% promo, this then stacks with S&S normal 10% off.

Even cheaper than prime day and cheapest I can see in a long time.

Also Available:

Note, the clipped coupon works once per product, so you can order one of each of these deals if you want but manually clicking it on each product before buying.

Enjoy :)

Wow, stocked up on AAAs Prime Day. No brainer at this price. Thanks doweyy :)

      Don't you use eneloops?

      • Plenty of AA Eneloops, but never bothered with AAA.

  • +1

Do cashback work on s&s deal ?

    • +1

No harm in giving it a try, but I believe it'll be denied as mark as ineligible in the terms:

Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, subscribe & save items, prime subscriptions, and all categories/products listed at 0% cashback.

  • how do these compare to the Varta bunnings ones?

    • -1

Energizer Max and Max Plus are basically top tier in industry.

      • +4

That’s how they’re marketed, certainly. I can’t find the link now but someone here tested a whole bunch of alkaline battery brands and found Varta to be the best or among the best. I find them to work well, a lot cheaper than Energiser, and a lot less leaky than Duracells.

        • I've had multiple Vartas leak well before the expiry date while still in the unopened packet. Never buying them again.

  • Have not used S&S before. Easy and free to cancel?

    • +6

Very easy, wait for it to ship, go here and press on the item and click Cancel Subscription.

Set the sub to 6 months just in case you forget and can come back later.

    • +1

Yea very easy. Just go to your sub and save and cancel it , better do it after your item is delivered

      • Just gave it a try to confirm:
"We will also attempt to cancel all open orders of this item that haven’t entered the shipping process." I'll wait till they're in hand before I cancel, but wonder if it might be worth keeping for the AAAs since they have the biggest discount. Can the S&S amount change without you knowing?

        • I have had no issues canceling S&S, just make sure you choose "I wanted initial discount" as reason.

        • Yes, price is not locked in and based on the price at time of dispatch.

    • cheers @doweyy and @ozvictor

  • I’m new to the subscribe and save 10% off on amazon. Do people do this and then cancel after postage just to get an extra 10% off?

    • +1

Yep, I always use S&S when it's available as it's easy to cancel.

    • Yes, every single time and I have done this almost hundred time past 12 months.

  • ty op.

  • Deals for AA?

  • mine says save 30% on first s&s then 10% off future. I've used S&S before a lot. That makes it $10ea if I order 2 qty. If I order 1, it is $8.75 S&S, nice.

  • Same price at BIG W as a clearance item.

Energizer AA Max Plus Batteries 10 Pack for $8 look like a good price at BIG W.
    and
Energizer AAA Max Plus Batteries 10 Pack for $8 at BIG W.

  • Nice deal orders some aa and aaa

  • +1

just a thought how do amazon make money from these sort of everyday items …i have prime membership so don’t pay postage etc
surly the post is around $5 to $10 i’m just guessing on what a price they pay. i guess they will slowly kill off other retailers over next 5 years.
bit scary what amazon can do to local jobs in my area of the world.

    • Comes up as $12 for me

  • Thanks. Got some of each for work.

  • 24pk showing as out of stock now.

  • AAA OOS

  • Jackpot - I still have some of these but they're a mix of brands and models and I vaguely recall mixing those is meant to be a no-no (or is that an old wives tale?). Splashed on the AA 30 pack, and the AAA and 2032.

    • Certainly Old Somethings Tale, not sure if we're allowed to say "Old Wives Tale".

  • Great deal, thanks OP.

  • 2025 looks OOS to me, and doesn't have S&S option. Picked up a pack of 2032 though

  • Should look into rechargeable batteries. Aldi have 8 pack of aa or aaa for $10

  • I do not have coupon available , or click subscribe
    strange?

    • Yeah when their current stock sells out S&S gets removed as an option, they’re on back order now so no S&S anymore.

  • +1

    Dammit really needed some 2032s

    • +5

I can’t help ya sorry mate.

      • glorious

  • Cr2032, are there much difference between branded and no brand ones?
They're used in situations where you can't really measure how long they should last

    • Price usually is the factor imo

      • I got some no brand off ebay of whatever, used in an outdoors zigbee sensor. Seems to run out after 4mth. But it's outside gets to 35C, and the indoor one seems to last longer (?)

  • Make sure these are kept away from kids as button batteries are lethal.
