Any good deals at the moment on a USB 3.0 hard drive?
It's worth bearing in mind that you can also get a USB3.0 dock for the Seagate in my comment above. :)
But it's pricey
True, I'll just wait for a special. In the meantime gigabit ethernet seems to be just fine!
It may be more than you want to pay but what the hell, it's 4TB!
I'd still buy the 3TB Home version & then a cheap 2TB USB drive to plug into the NAS dock…et voila, 5TB at a similar price! :D

Maybe people should compare the warranty on this to the Seagate and make up their own minds based on facts……

I think it would be fair to surmise that in all likelihood it will be a WD inside.
To be honest though, I think this is a better option: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/62035 …even though you've got to pay for shipping it's a more versatile drive, essentially a basic NAS! :)
