Saw the Facebook ads as part of Mother's day sale. It is pretty Good deal for $259 "however" the $90 discount will be credited as Google Store credit approximately in 3 weeks time frame. The deal may not for everyone, but, price wise it is second cheapest since the eBay Tuesday special back in September 2020 for $249.

If you have 200GB Google One plan account you will get extra 3% ($10.47) and 2TB plan for extra 10% ($34.90) Google store credit.

Term and condition:

Customers will receive an email notifying them Google Store credit is added to their account approximately 3 weeks from the order delivery date.   Hang on..the store credit expires in 2 weeks but the promotion ends in 7 months? It makes even less sense that the store credit will be added in 3 weeks at the earliest (assuming delivery today), by which it will have expired, if we take the terms and conditions at face value.

    Looks like they have used USA date format…..I think the offer ends 12 May.
    From experience, the store credit generally lasts a year…..probably worth contacting Google to confirm.

  Current Google sale is full of glaring mistakes.

  1. Store credit expires by 12 May 2021 but promotion is valid till 12 May 2021 and it takes 3 weeks to get the credits.

  2. Nest mini single is offered at 49$ but Nest Audio Anywhere package (only two nest mini) is priced at 141$ showing savings of 27$. Why can't I buy them in singles and save even more?

  This is blatant false advertising from Google, with their ads on Facebook.
  They clearly state Google Nest Hub only $259, but digging into the weasel clauses you see it is scummy store credit. I bought a GNH for $264 last year, so this is a crap deal

    The deal here is very clear about the price and discount and when I click on the ad, it's still very clean in google's website.
    Are you downvoting this deal because you saw some other ads on Facebook?

      I have not seen the ad since I reported it to FB as a scam. The ad clearly stated the price as $259, when you clicked on the ad, it was $349, with no details on the discount or credit.
      Google may have now changed it, but it was blatantly false advertising by Google.
