    Now, how do I feel about letting the kids read on a screen?

    The eldest will probably be 8 by the time I allow that, hah.

      Do you consider reading on a tablet the same as watching YouTube gaming or TV?

      If the kid is learning on a screen I don't see the issue. Unless there are other issues I don't know about.

        I would rather not introduce something that may demote reading a physical book until they are older.

        If screens were the only way to read books it would be fine. But physical ones still exist.

  • Thanks OP, any ideas where can I buy some quality hard paper bound kid books for cheap? Kids are only 2, and after couple of days, they tear the books, so don't want to invest in expensive ones.

    • Why not check fb marketplace and gumtree?
