Correct but Sony's better in continuous autofocus!
I am micro 4/3 user, Olympus in my case. So happy with most of shots but left it only for photo because of laggish autofocus. Better authofocus in conjunction with excellent stabilizer in Olympus/Panasonic makes micro 4/3 extremely compatible with full frame cams considering their lower price point.
I really like lumix for photo/video..not a full sensor but enough for me. Compare to buying expensive sony camera I can use the rest of the money for buying a drone
I have seen professional event photographers using full frame cameras for photos and Panasonic GH4 or GH5 (micro four thirds) to do videos.
G9 is a great all-around camera especially after the firmware update. The only issue (which applies to all Panasonic Cameras) is the unreliable autofocus.
Definitely an excellent price for one of the best semi-pro video cameras. The M4/3rds platform is really good for photos and videos, and has some pretty great glass from Leica and Olympus.
For those wondering, for this price you’re not better off getting a Sony A7 III if you’re planning on using it for video. This will do much better for video in a lighter package in comparison to the A7 III, although of course the A7s III blows this out of the water (and costs over double for just the body)
