I'm using G510 right now. Never use a single Macro keys. Just use it for the backlighting.
I use my G19 and use the macro keys frequently. Depends on the user. Awesome Dota keyboards.

Nope, these are standard… I don't know what to call the type. Not mechanical tough.

Plastic Membrane/Rubber Dome Keys.
Mechanical Keyboards are incredibly expensive, have the look and feature-set of a keyboard from 1995 and are only necessary if you're the type to play games 8 hours a day.
Rubber Dome Keys are still good for a million cycles.
