  • ISV-100 is the old model.

    • Hmm, true… I wonder what the diff is

  • This is the older one, which I have used for ages and love it. Bought the new one this week and it arrived today. Will use it over the next couple of days and see how it goes. The 200 (orange backlit) has a nicer display (which makes no real difference), but no idea if it's functionally any better, despite the now-deleted weird comments from that rep.

    • I'm reading on forums that the build quality is not as good on the ISV200? Like the plastic seems flimsy?

      • Just had a look at them both and they're VERY similar. The 200 has a more streamlined shape at the top/clamp, but that seems to be about it.

        • I'm also reading that apparently the ISV200 has an empty water alarm that the ISV100 didn't… Not that you should be in that position!

  • I have the 200 but I would jump on this model at this price. No brainer. You ain't missing out on anything with the newer model.

  • How much water can these heat? Like I’ve got a 20L stock pot, so I’m wondering if this would work on a large volume of water for brisket or something

  • Can anyone comment on max volume for this unit? Would this be suitable for 10-15L? I'm interested as a tool for maintaining sparge water during brewing…

I use the original Anova which has 750w. And my sous vide box is about 20L. This is 1000w so will be plenty.

  • In the product description it says it's the ISV-200W?
Also, can these be used manually without WiFi? I've read that the WiFi disconnects periodically.

    • It's the 100, I've never used the WIFI

  • Bought…. Finally get to use the vacuum sealer machine my mother bought me for Christmas…2 years ago!..wish me luck

    • It's crazy easy to do right

Watch Guga and his Sous Vide Everything YouTube videos ;)

      • Great channel Thumbs up

  • Alrighty, this is cheap enough for me to toy with.

I got the 200 the other day and it is pretty awesome.

I have only done a pork shoulder but I cold smoked it for three hours, put it in the sous vide for twelve then grilled the skin in the oven for 45 minutes. The bone pulled out like it wasn't even connected and the crackling turned out better than I have ever done before. The meat it self was pull apart tender.

I'm sold on it. I got the kmart $59 vacuum sealer and it seams pretty good, just triple sealing the bags for a bit of insurance.

    Doing rump roast today!

    • Wow for 12h!

What temp? I'd get pulled pork after 6 hours!

      • 68 I think. Wish the app had a history now that you ask!

  • Fyi I have messaged the rep to bring back the cheap instant read pens… TBC

  • Coupon applies to the V2 model. just boought one for $94.52
