  Agoda refund/ credit strategy is to delay as long as possible while advising it can take up to 30 days because of local banks. Its total BS.

    That's unfortunate.

    It's pretty painless with Expedia brands (Expedia, Wotif, CheapTickets, Orbitz, etc) and seems automated. Always refunded back within a couple of business days.

  Didn't work even after jumping through all their hoops and using my Qantas Amex. They said the mistake was on their side because even though I paid in advance the system registered it as pay at hotel (which isn't eligible) and not reversible. I will stick with booking.com

  Short version, if you dont see the discount before you click the book button, dont click the book button ;-)
