I rekon any inkjet is going to be a no-no on ozbargain.
Can anyone recommend a current good value printer?
Thinking of getting one of those megatank printers, what do people think? they start from $250 but the ink is supposedly last over 4,000 pages etc.
I have two of these
Epson EcoTank Pro ET-M2170 Multifunction Monochrome Printer https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08DTPB6Q3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g…I bought from amazon for $316.04
Yeah it’s pricey. but the ink lasts a long time, and is cheap to buy the refills, which I also purchase from amazon.
Regarding paper, i get it from Kmart for $3.75 a ream.
Cheap printer usually means the cartridges will be super pricey and constantly replacing, which is why I switched to these.
Uhm, $250 actually looks very reasonable if it's a printer cost, but the cheapest (for what I think is the cheapest model PIXMA G3600 MegaTank
) I can find online comes at ~$480. Where did you find it for $250?
No deal — Instant Ink
Under Product Specifications for the HP DeskJet Plus 4123 All-in-One Printer, it states:
* HP DeskJet 4123 All-in-One; HP 67 Setup Black Instant Ink Ready CartridgeDammit so subscription is mandatory?
so subscription is mandatory
You bet!
Does it come with any ink? Assuming a half cartridge?
Yes
Got the deal plus the store is giving 20% off ink purchases with a printer purchase.
Picked one up yesterday, Eastgardens still had 3 more on display
Didn't even bother putting the ink carts in. $44 for a wifi connected document scanner? cheap :D
Was on same boat, also this has document feeder which is great when you want bunch of papers to be scanned both sides
Remembering those times when cheap printers used to be around 20 bucks! (Thinking of you, Canon MG 2560)
