Big W has the Nutri Ninja on special this week at 50% off the RRP.

It comes with a fresh vac unit to remove oxygen to reduce food color discoloration when in storage. More details from the site below.

Fresh Vac Technology: Ninja’s FreshVac Pump removes oxygen before blending. Vacuum blending locks in vitamins and creates a visibly bright, smooth drink with a rich taste, less foam and less separation than traditional blending.
Simply press one button and let Auto-iQ’s pre-set programmes do the work for you. Unique pulse, pause and blend patterns are tailored to deliver the results you want, with no guesswork.
1000 watts of power drive Ninja’s patented Pro Extractor Blades to blend the toughest of ingredients, even ice, leaving you with deliciously smooth drinks exactly how you like them.
The Nutri Ninja® blender with FreshVac™ removes oxygen and locks in vitamins, giving you ultra-rich and tasty drinks that stay fresh overnight or up to 8 hours after blending
Take your delicious drink on the go with the Ninja Fresh Vac Spout Lids.

Previous low was about $149. At $139.50 about $10 cheaper. Use GET10 code and get it $10 cheaper too!

Note: Shipping should appear as zero at checkout as the value is over $65.

  • Has anyone done a comparison between Ninja and Nutribullet yet?

  • +1

I've got this and it's really good. Much better than I thought it would be. I would say that the difference in using the vacuum is marginal in my experience but that's maybe because the cup is almost always full.

    • Thanks for your reply. The cup seems tall and narrow towards the bottom. Are your hand able to reach the bottom of the cup for cleaning?

      • You need a brush but a standard one is fine.

  • Beware the bottom of the cup is not actually completely leak proof. Have one for less than a year and it leaked for me numerous times

    • Bummer… That is exactly what has happened with my Nutribullet

    • Mine has never leaked so I'm not sure what is wrong with yours.

      • Can your hand reach the base of the cup from the inside?

  • Bought this Ninja BL580 Freshvac blender. Thinking of returning it after one week use. Reasons:
    1,
Need 6 AA batteries. Quite expensive to change battery weekly, if you make juices or smoothies a lot. Batteries lasted less than a week.
    2.
With the cup full of ingredients, it took over 5 minutes to vacuum out the oxygen from blending jar. Can you bear with the 5 minutes vacuum noise? 5 minutes is a too long to wait.
    3.
The blender won't crush seeds from blueberries, blackberries, passion fruits etc, despite blending it two times.

Considerations for those thinking of buying this blender.
