  I've got this and it's really good. Much better than I thought it would be. I would say that the difference in using the vacuum is marginal in my experience but that's maybe because the cup is almost always full.

    Thanks for your reply. The cup seems tall and narrow towards the bottom. Are your hand able to reach the bottom of the cup for cleaning?

      You need a brush but a standard one is fine.

  Beware the bottom of the cup is not actually completely leak proof. Have one for less than a year and it leaked for me numerous times

  Bought this Ninja BL580 Freshvac blender. Thinking of returning it after one week use. Reasons:
  1,
  Need 6 AA batteries. Quite expensive to change battery weekly, if you make juices or smoothies a lot. Batteries lasted less than a week.
  2.
  With the cup full of ingredients, it took over 5 minutes to vacuum out the oxygen from blending jar. Can you bear with the 5 minutes vacuum noise? 5 minutes is a too long to wait.
  3.
  The blender won't crush seeds from blueberries, blackberries, passion fruits etc, despite blending it two times.

  Considerations for those thinking of buying this blender.
