      3600 if you want the performance and don't mind a fully headless system (or adding a dedicated gpu), 10100 if you need qsv transcoding or want to have the option of video out (for troubleshooting or use as a htpc or something)

        The 3600X is better, but the 3600 is far more popular. Probably the most popular CPU currently.

        Negligible difference between the two and with the 3600 being cheaper it's by far the more popular. For the last year or more it's been the bang for buck CPU…

        Intel has now thrown their hat in to that area with some of the 10th gen being value buys

        I am thinking that. But this one ended up being 315 with postage and this mobo worths 60-70, not much a big difference and I don't need the mobo once I have one. I will keep it.
