Some new in stock hard drives , pulled from new laptops, so they don't come in original individual packaging but are new (no OS install).

  1TB HDD's need to be $25 brand new to even convince me to have a look in these days.

    true, small capacity per drive is a huge inconvenience + the price per tb doesn't make sense = these drives make no sense (for most)

    despite all that said I do run those in raid lel

  Pulled from a laptop = used

  ACCC might like a word given you have "save $30" on the website but I doubt you have ever sold used hard drives at that price.

    At $49 ?
    Even the crappiest $100 1TB SSD is massively faster, quieter, and uses less power - why would you consider a mechanical drive ?
