Tefal QT2020 IXEO All in One Steamer $499 Delivered ($0 C&C/ In-Store) @ David Jones

80

Been waiting for this particular steamer to come down in price for a little while. More powerful than the QT1020 which seems to be regularly on sale, with some extra features on top. Detachable base is idea for steaming curtains/drapes if that tickles your fancy. Apparently made in France if that means anything. Use CR for an extra 1.5% off.

EDIT - There is also a bonus offer run through Tefal.com.au for a bonus 5sec Chopper. Offer runs till 25th April on most Tefal products purchased over $179.00. More info here https://www.tefal.com.au/specialoffers

  • I have one of those. It's definitely an awesome product. Not only will you be ironing shirts in no time, it's also great at steaming your suits after you've worn it for the day. That kills off the bacteria and allows you to wear your suits for longer without having to take it to the dry cleaners.

    • Will it iron a white business shirt? Seen reviews online stating that its struggle. I had been looking at these for ages.

      • I had an older Tefal steamer and it worked perfectly for "non iron" shirts but struggled with regular.

      • Not sure how people struggle ironing with one of these. I have some shirts that gets super wrinkly and is a real pain to iron the traditional way. With this, it's a complete breeze.

        • Really want to buy one, but just hoping it will get wrinkles out of a white business shirt! So sick of ironing.

@BirdPirch: Perhaps you can go into David Jones with a shirt and ask if you can get try it out with a machine on display, citing your concerns above.

            • @Youbidmetoit: I thought about that this morning! I wonder if they would let me 🤔

              • @BirdPirch: Perhaps it's best to ring first. You might have to try and a few different stores as some might have a display/demo model out and others might not.

@Youbidmetoit: I shall report back with my findings and put this to bed once and for all.

@BirdPirch: The other thing you could do, is to call Tefal Customer service themselves and see if they can arrange a demo with one of their retailers that carry the IXEO range. Good luck!
