    Found it: https://www.ritchies.com.au/coke-limited-edition-yoyo-promot…

This is only one group of IGA stores though, OP's picture seems to be from a different store.

    • Says Promo has been running since February, with the final release being 11 March……that's assuming that poster is this year's.

    • So is it IGA own Ritchies, and some IGA is called Ritchies IGA?

I still have my coke yo-yo from when I was a kid

  • Wow had this is grade 1.

  • plastic is too cheap.

    • +2

When I was a kid the novelty was that these Coke freebie yoyo's actually had a spinning wooden axle under all the plastic.

      • I always thought that was for the string to have grip

      • I remember the cheap one is wooden axle, the more premium one are metal inside.

Did anyone have the yo-yo "professionals" come to their school in the 80's? They did all the cool tricks. These yo-yos were massive back then. Literally every kid in my primary school had one

    • Yeah they came to my school….. Unless that was a Simpsons episode.

      • No yoyo's here, but we had a Handmade Boomerangs guy SO COOL!
