I only got $700 limit with lat pay. How would anyone get $150?

    • +1

Was going to say the same thing

      I don’t know anyone who has a $1000+ limit

      • +1

I have $1000,dno if that counts as $1000+

    • Maybe you could spend $500, pay it off, and then spend another $500

    • i think i started with $800 limit, and everytime you finished paying the 10xpayment, they invited you to higher limit. I am now at $1100 limit

      • I started with 1000 for a new account, when I tried to sign up with my 28degrees account, they gave me 800 🤔

Hate these interest free discounts. It's finance companies trying to buy customers. Unless you are 100% prompt on payments and your admin process the $150 saving disappears fast.

yeah and i got caught out on another cards' repayments, trying to sort it still

    • I set up direct debit to my debit card and always keep a sufficient amount in it, never had a problem though.

  • Just confirming it is a good guys gift card, not cash back?

    • It’s $150 taken off the purchase price.

    Fix title. New customers only.

New customers can claim $150 Pay Less Payback
Existing customers can claim $50 Pay Less

  • Looked at the t & c

It's for Latitude GEM VISA Customers

  • do they still do Pay Less Pay Cash too ?

  • Yes this doesn't look like latitude pay but rather their interest free payment method

    T&C here - https://wch.thegoodguys.com.au/dxdam/pdf/bo_1630_tc.pdf?_ga=…

Some points to note - I actually don't think it's worth it cos of this:
    - The annual fee for the Latitude Gem Visa credit card is $99 so I assume you'll be charged for this (effectively reduces your bonus to $51). NOTE: Interest rate is a whopping 24.99% after the interest free period.
    - The $150 is a Good Guys gift card (not a discount or cashback) so limited on what you can use it for.
    - It's not applicable with other Good guys promotions - for example they have a Spend $1000+, get a $100 gift card so I assume it doesn't stack with this. In my view that promotion is better value.

  • Negging for the same reason stated as Cloo. This is clearly bait advertising.

Plus you can only get this $150 if you get a credit limit of greater than $1000. If you are approved for a lesser credit amount, this deal will be worthless and you'll have wasted valuable time and effort.

  • Fine print on this deal isn't as good as I first thought when I saw it.
