  Considering between this and the Aldi 50" for $350. Unfortunately I can't get both to compare and return the less desired one because this doesn't accept returns… and even if it did, it'd have to be posted which is a hassle.

  Anybody can vouch for Hisense quality? Compared to LG/Samsung?

    I have an older Hisense 4k around 3 years old with zero issues and i am pretty happy with it. I have heard very bad things about the Aldi 4k unit.. i just purchased a Hisense 65" s8 for the lounge. Still havent used it as its for our brand new house. And about to buy this 50" for our bedroom. So i will have 3 Hisense TV`s in our house plus a Hisense french door fridge. I dont think Hisense are in the same league as Samsung, LG and Sony, but i think they are very very close.
