Poolwerx's PR team sent us this deal.
Poolwerx have teamed up Australian Red Cross for April Pools Day, a nationwide campaign giving FREE online CPR courses from Red Cross between 1-15 April.
With Australians spending more time at home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in their backyards, there’s never been a more important time to learn CPR, especially for pool owners and parents.
To equip more people with these lifesaving skills, April Pools Day is giving FREE online CPR training from Australian Red Cross, valued at $49 to the first 4,000 individuals to sign up. This first aid course takes only 30 minutes to complete and covers topics including basic life support, saving lives, the recovery position and bleeding/minor injuries.
Following completion of the online unit, individuals receive a 20 per cent discount to complete either a Red Cross certified First Aid or CPR course; or First Aid for Babies and Children course (all available as either blended/live or virtual).
This doesn't seem to provide the HLTAID001 Provide CPR certification at the end of completion. It's probably a good refresher for those who wish to renew their certification in the future.
