  • Bought the Instant Read a few weeks for about $28, been great so far!

Is this the cheapest it has been?

Would prefer a AAA than built in obsolescence.

This looks massive too, which should be unnecessary without needing a battery compartment. Or just a bad Photoshop?

    • Nahh it actually is quite large, surprised me too when I got it.

  • Do you require Prime for free delivery? That’s what it’s showing for me

  • Got one for $8 from Daiso the other day, have yet to test it though.

I had a cheaper thermometer once, but its 'instantness' was very doubtful. Took around 10 -15 seconds to read boiling water. Ended up buying a much better one which was actually 2-3 second read time. Important so you arent holding it over a boiling pot of oil or a very hot pan.

    Is the lithium battery replaceable?

  • Wow this looks massive compared to the earlier model. Seems like a good price but think I prefer the smaller footprint
