  • If I didn't already have a "Cocktail Time" I would definitely go for this.

Have heard that this one looks great in the flesh.

  • The dial is stunning. Great price.

  • Bah, already have Espresso Martini. Would've bought this if I didn't

    • I'm actually saving for one of these. Makes it much harder when these types of deals pop up.

  • +1

    Any watch connoisseurs recommend?

I'm keen but unsure, reviews look good. Looks classy

eh, nevermind I'm going to buy one anyway :)

    ty op

    • Doubt you'll regret it.

Starbuy have a great returns policy (back to them within 45 days, in shipped condition), if in any doubt after it arrives.

    • You will not regret it , I don't like brown or red colours and thought this was meh from photos….. When I saw it in the flesh it was mesmerising , the hand painted enamel is awesome with the sapphire convex lens if memory serves correct the light just plays on it.
At that time I think it was about $700 so at this price a no brainer.
As previously mentioned Starbuy have great service and brilliant return policy.

      • It's a hardlex lens, rather than sapphire.
Sapphire would be more expensive to do, but that's been one of the things holding me back from getting one of these. Such amazing dials, but hardlex isnt really cutting it for me. I'd rather Seiko do sapphire on these and charge accordingly more.

You can actually buy aftermarket sapphire for it, and have it fitted, which is an option, but somewhat expensive.

  • How does the 38.5mm case sit on the wrist? Is the watch too small for an 8inch wrist?

  • I have one, paid a little bit more than this offer about a year ago at Starbuy. Very nice little watch, catches the light beautifully with its guilloché red dial. If you want a good video of it, look up the review on Just One More Watch on youtube (Jody the Scotsman from Sydney).

Band is the weak link - leather deployant. I put up with it for about a year but it never really softened and the steel folding mechanism always dug a little. I replaced with a milanese from Strapcode.

  • 4R35 calibre, isn't it a NH35A?
It is bit steep for NH35A movement but beautiful dial….

    • It's a 4R35.

NH35's are the wholesale version Seiko sells to third parties. Whether a 4R35 movement is worth a few hundred dollars to you is entirely subjective, I suppose.
