Sunset bld and Roosevelt are decent, a step below the pricier roasters like Market Lane/Axil imo but well worth it at $25/kg.
Any idea how this compares with Airjo?
I prefer these to Airjo but that's just my humble, non-coffee snob opinion.
Ordered a KG of each to try. I'm not a coffee snob by any means so I'm sure it'll be fine. Cheers.
That's a lot of coffee beans. How long will that last you?
@WatchNerd: Between 3-4 weeks.
Yeah, like others, this is my go to when 50% off (except for Lime Blue when it has awesome sales - really like their stuff)
I think if you spend $60 you get 30% off
Got free shipping to TAS. Let's see how it goes.
Love this brand. Their decaf, in particular, is excellent (but not on sale at the moment).
Anyone have experience with these beans, particularly for aeropress?
Are these roasted daily ?
No only once
Cheap enough to give this brand a go with a bag.
I've bought some during the last deal. The beans were fresh roasted. I so impressed that I bought them again… at full price!
What were they like flavour wise / what sort of brewing did you use with them mate?
Roosevelt 1kg out of stock.
Not working for me, both out of stock after I add to bag even though it says plenty available
I have a fully automatic machine and ordered whole beans. I drink long blacks so flavour is very important. They have a smooth rich balanced flavour.
I found them not to be bitter, fruity or taste like an ashtray… these are all adjectives I've used to describe beans from other roasters.
I too think it is a better coffee black than when it is combined with soy milk. Regular milk unsure.
ordered Roosevelt in the past. Wasn't memorable so never reordered.
Been buying Inglewood beans for about a year now. Great coffee and frequently great deals
It seems oos for both.
all out of stock, add to cart for any that are on sale, it'll say 20+ available get to checkout and nothing is available, how to lose a sale, like this.
Are these better than Manna Beans?
No. You can actually buy Manna Beans.
Yes, with the exception of magical unicorn
Magical unicorn is inconsistent. They sent me 4 bags of average beans label magical unicorn. Nothing like the first magical unicorn I had from a previous order.
The first Magical Unicorn was amazing though.Manna Beans are just inconsistent full stop with old roast dates.
Were your beans from a sale? I've found (almost 100% of the time) sale beans are far inferior. Its like roasteries use sales to clear rubbish stock or use cheaper beans or something.
OOS…
How exactly is this sold out? They still have the blends for sale on the website. Just not 50% off…
Seems like they just wanted to have a sale but weren't willing to sell many units at that price. A bit misleading when a 24hr sale only lasts a couple of hoursThis is crummy guys! I literally got an SMS for this a few mins ago and went to their site think there had been a re-stock, there is nothing there at discount. I checked my email and received a 24hr sale email last night at 7pm. It ain't 7pm now is it? They do good coffee, but sending an SMS for a sale which doesn't exist isn't cool.
Thanks OP. OzB team, Any idea how this compares with the Pablo & Rusty beans?
How long do they normally take to ship? Ordered three days ago and still sitting at processing… and now it is the weekend.
Looks like my order was shipped yesterday. Website just hasn't updated yet.
Delivered today, roasted 1 week ago, very happy!
Any good?
