Wow.. crazy pricing. Do they have a 'Use By" date or something?

The legs on these cheap ones are always crap, they only ever last a couple months before getting bent and are no longer able to stand. Big W will be saving you a step when they send the excess stock to the tip. Not bad if you're in a pinch though so good post OP.

A frequent criticism of this style of fan!

Try the very stable $11.20 40cm pedestal remote control fans @Target. Heavy round base solves that issue. Very happy with mine over last year.

It's fan sale season - lots to choose from at heavily discounted prices.

Geeeeee I bought 2 for $29 each before few months…very happy with product though

@DaveD: Bought @$10 in May last year. Some found stock @$5!
            $29 was full pricešŸ˜¢

            Tips:
            Be a countercyclical bargainer.
            And anticipate your future requirements.
Buy at the bottom of the cycle (when no one else wants a fan) to get best price. But don't wait too long, or they will be gone.

If bought in last 60days - can return for a refund @Target. And purchase at lower price. I've done that.

@INFIDEL: Thanks man…Good idea, but they are making loss already ..will keep 'em…..BTW I think it time to buy camping tents…they seems to be getting cheaper..

                @DaveD: Recently bought $170 of clothes - 1/2 price @Target.

When price dropped again by 50% - took them back & repurchased same ones for $42.50! Was a suggestion by staff member.

Almost none of what I had originally purchased was still available. So a handy tip if price is expected to fall & stock may not be available then.

The profit was made on those who bought almost all the stock at full price.
The sales meant stock was cleared, & did not need to be stored until Spring or disposed.

@DaveD: BTW I think it time to buy camping tentsā€¦

After Easter - demand for camping gear falls.
It's another cycle - which you're aware of.

Have too many tents & camping gearā›ŗ
And got many free Vouchers from BCF & Kathmandu in last 2 weeks.

(Learnt from overseas travellers (pre Covid), that people often dump their tents & gear before leaving Oz.
In Japan, I collected from departing travellers there & gave away great sleeping bags, clothes, etc to homeless.)
