Half price on this 3 metre HDMI 2.0 cable that's also braided for extra durability. I've not used it myself but it has a heap of positive reviews.

Yeah, good for tug of war. High FPS.
Try it and see - at least with Amazon you can return if it doesn't work properly.
Does your monitor support DP? If so, I would grab a DP cable rather than HDMI.

How would this cable fare with RTX 3070 paired with Xiaomi Ultrawide 144Hz 3440x1440 monitor? Wanting to achieve that 2ms 144Hz speeds but since it's an Ultrawide it has weird resolution.

Give it a short, again, Amazon return policy is good.
Also aim to have as short a cable as possible - don't buy the 3m if you only need a 1m.
I do like Cable Matters or Monoprice cables, but Ivanky may be non-iwanky
Highly recommend one that advertises DP 1.4 HBR3 for full 144hz at 1440p ultrawide if it doesn't cost much more to save the hassle. It's possible that a DP 1.2 one might not work (esp at full RGB 10 bit) if the quality isn't up to par, but give it a go.
Get one that is VESA certified and HBR3 - Club3d, startech, monoprice, etc
I'm using this 3m one https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07HL7RSRW/ with my Xiaomi at 144Hz - been working perfectly. I tried a couple of the non-vesa certified ones and they couldn't get past 100Hz.
delete this post please admin its already been mentioned
Too much pornhub has ruined the meaning of DP for me…
Ivanky Trumpy
These names are getting ridiculous. Search Amazon for something generic like a USB cable and you’ll see hundreds of them.
Impulse bought one.
No idea why…
Thanks?
Are you asking us to feel sorry for you?
I will never financially recover from this
I prob won't aswell ;)
You and me both!
Merry Christmas
Thanks OP, grabbed one.
Can anyone recommend an HDMI 2.1 compliant cable that does 4k@120hz and tested with Xbox Series X?
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/gtek-premium-certified-8k…
Bit expensive though
Thanks.
I’m just wondering if there are any price competitive hdmi 2.1 options, as they ultimately shouldn’t be too differently priced to the older 2.0 versions - but they command quite a premium in some stores.
I need three or four of them…
Unfortunately, from what I can see that there are distance limitations for HDMI 2.1 up to 1.8M
Also interested, but for RTX3080. A few on Amazon explicitly state they aren't compatible.
I'd recommend these https://www.4cabling.com.au/audio-visual/hdmi-cable/hdmi-2-1…. Had no issues using them with my PS5.
Thanks mate - appears they only go up to 2m. I'm cabling through wall so probably need 3m to be safe. Will take a closer look at their site when I have a moment, in case I missed it.
https://www.amazon.com.au/TERSELY-48Gbps-Support-Connector-P… This has decent reviews but I haven’t bought myself. Amazon is good for returns though.
Ordered 3! Yeah baby yeah!
Going to Aster multiseat my beast PC (Well the fastest one I've got). 1 to TV (HTPC), 2 for PC. 3PC out of 1! 3M cable to each room ought to do it… I hope.
why buy 4k when you can buy 8k?
who would need 8k? Besides it's multi so gfx card is shared
ok buy your 8k tv cables in a couple of years and waste your money ohh and hi to my cyberstalkers - america loves you!
What are the odds that this pos up after i watch clips of ivan vanko from iron man 2
1080p @144hz?
Just scrolling past the deal, I thought it said "Manky 4k HDMI Cables". Sounded disturbing.
IVanky isn’t much less disturbing? :D
Cheers OP just bought one!
They have red DP 2m at half price using this code. $6.49. Thanks Op :)
nothing working
https://www.amazon.com.au/DisplayPort-Braided-Display-Compat…
Red DP is 50% off for me
damn i misssed it
Is this good for gaming? I know my GPU has DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0b, so do I need a special cable or is any HDMI 2.0 cable okay?
