Presumably targeted to newly activated SIMs. Seen working with $30 and $40 plans activated earlier this week.

Works for new SIMs activated in the last few days / auto-renew disabled soon after. Check your email and click on the link, should arrive the day after activation, you have a week to click.

If you want, you can turn off auto-renewal again and use the credit in your account for anything else (e.g. cheaper plan, PAYG); expires March 2022.

    You can just turn off auto renew now and activate when desired.

  i was on $10/2gb a month and they give the "renewal" as $10 to my credit balance which expires March next year. can keep this number going for a couple of years at least ;)
