  • Also $987.30 at Catch with UNiDAYS or $967.30 with LatitudePay

    • Just got the email!

    • create new deal for the black one too

      • I should create one for every colour lol

        • Thanks a lot for your post, I didn't purchase from Costco, but according to the comments, I got the $500 trade in bonus /$200 voucher /$50 sign in voucher. Thanks again.

      • Still the better deal! Got the S21 128gb for $159 after trading in my Huawei P30

        • How much is your Huawei P30 trade in value ? The Samsung trade in app stop just saying my test completed with a value, without any reference, what's the procedure then ? Thanks

          • @ti6331: It was $190. Probably best to uninstall and then install the app and then rerun the test

            • @itslittfam: Thanks for your reply, I approached a Samsung store, all Samsung staff @Westfield have no idea about the situation. Luckily, after 30 minutes, a young fellow tried to minimize the font for me and then 'next page' shown up on the screen. I made the purchase successfully afterwards

  • Just use a crappy / old phone and take the advantage of the S21 $500 trade in bonus

    • Pretty sure only certain newer models are eligible for trade in and the amount varies depending on the device up to $500

      • Incorrect, the trade in bonus is $500 disregard which phone you trade in
the final value offset is $500 + value of the phone

eg. I trade in with Galaxy S7 which is valued at $25 only
but get final discounts of $525

        Check on this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/612845

Not true, it your trade in phone does not appear in the drop down list, they don't give you any trade in value therefore no bonus trade in either, I tried that yesterday, I have an LG phone.

          • @sistermay: Yeah my oneplus 7 doesn't appear either :(

          • @sistermay: Yeah I tried to search up my LG V30 and it wasn't in the list.

my wife got this phone on an Optus 24m contract, she pays $65 per month for 24m gets 80gb data and $0 upfront on the handset $1560 total with included network provider

    • +1

I get thats better for some, but not everyone needs an 80Gb per month plan, I'm currently on $28 per month for 40Gb

      • So you'd be paying about $200 more over 24 months and only getting half the data???

Not sure how that is better ?

        • not everyone needs 80Gb per month. I have a 40Gb per month plan, I never use >20Gb, so the rest keeps rolling over.

Plus not everyone likes being stuck on phone plans.

          • @SupeNintendoChalmers: But you are paying more for 40Gb compare to their 80Gb…

            • @jv: yes, but you're stuck on a 24 month plan, meaning if a better deal comes along you're up a certain creek. For example I'm switching over to Circles shortly which is doing a special, $22 per month for 50Gb

            @SupeNintendoChalmers:

not everyone likes being stuck on phone plans.

true, some people prefer to pay more than be on a plan… up to you if you want to waste money.

      • could you please share the details (I am with Optus 29$ 1GB, month by month).

        • Wow man, just go with Aldi or something. 18gb for $25.

          • @Mechz: I am trying to balance between price and signal reception, how is Aldi performing in this department ? thanks

            • @SurprisedPanda: They use Telstra wholesale network. It's at least equivalent in coverage.

If you have an eligible device to trade in, the $500 bonus deal from the Samsung store is far, far better. Samsungs live chat have also been handing out stackable $200 vouchers, and you can also stack the $50 newsletter signup voucher. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/612845

So a lot of people are getting S21 series devices at a discount of more than $750 ($750 plus the trade in value of your old device, eg $95 for my S9).

    • I tried but they refused to give me the $200 voucher. Is there a trick to it?

      • +3

I used this chat link (https://chatbot.samsungcs-au.com/loyalty), explained that I wanted to buy an S21 and a friend had been offered a voucher and was there any possibility of getting one.

        • Cheers mate. Giving it a shot

          • @Lesco Brandon: It's a numbers game, just gotta churn through reps

            • +1

@Sir Flabo: Yup, I finally found a rep willingly generated 2x $200 vouchers for me :D

              • @Lesco Brandon: ooh, wonder if they stack?

                • @Sir Flabo: voucher Codes are valid for purchasing products from the Samsung Australia website ONLY. Voucher codes are NOT APPLICABLE in any Samsung stores. Voucher code is valid for 7 days.

And $200 discount voucher is no longer stackable with Trade up promotions and $50 sign up voucher.

                  • @vr4indian: Could be stacked up, just done it 3 hours ago

                • @Sir Flabo: voucher Codes are valid for purchasing products from the Samsung Australia website ONLY. Voucher codes are NOT APPLICABLE in any Samsung stores. Voucher code is valid for 7 days.

And $200 discount voucher is no longer stackable with Trade up promotions and $50 sign up voucher.

        • Follow your link & got $200 voucher, thank you….

    • My son bought a S21 256gb with trade in of his Samsung S7 (trade value of $15) + the $50 sign up voucher and paid $634 yesterday, I think its a brilliant price so look at that promotion first before you buy from elsewhere.

  • I got one straight away this morning. I said im keen to buy a S21 and want to get the $200 voucher people are getting. Got one straight away.

    • Is this from Samsung normal store or education or company epp?

      • i guess just normal? went to the samsung au website and went into support>live chat

I dont think you can use the vouchers on education so they wont give it on there.

  • Does anyone know what chipset this is using?
some S21 are using Exynos 2100 and some are using Snapdragon 888

    • All Australian S21 variants use the Exynos 2100 chip, but it's far, far better and far more comparable to the SD chip than ever before. You won't be disappointed with it.

      • +1

I think only people who want to root/flash etc want the SD.

  • Completed the trade in test with a value for my old phone but there's no shown of trade in ID,what should I do now ? Thanks

    • Get onto the live chat.

    • Did you enter credit card info etc? You won't get an ID without that.

      • The app didn't ask for Credit card number, where to put in the card no. ? Thanks

        • Go to the next step after the valuation

          • @wombat81: Couldn't go to next step. Went to a Samsung store, after trying for 30mins. The staff minimize the screen and it works. Thanks again

            • @ti6331: too many popup and banners on their website.. really annoying after one extent
