As the title says, 40GB unlimited talk and text plan for half price for the first 6 months. There are other plans available but this may be just the sweet spot for users that need a decent data limit.

Yeah they use the Vodafone network which in my area works good
Constantly getting 2 bars on Iphone 12 Pro in Canberra region (along with numerous dropouts in calls).
Irony is that there's mobile phone towers less than 750m away when that happens. Definitely noticed a downturn in reception when switching from Optus based to Vodaphone based Internode.
Excess data $10 / 2GB, pass.
It's easy enough to set up data usage warnings and limits if you're an Android user.
It's easy enough for internode to set up the option for excess data instead of forcing you into it.
Agreed, however just pointing out an option for users.
Internode Mobile user here.
Actually that's exactly how it works. If you run out of data, it stops. If you want more data before the monthly renewal, you add $.
Sorry, maybe I should have phrased this differently.
If you are an Android user, you can make up for this shortfall in carrier functionality by setting up data usage warnings and/or limits.Does that mean taking responsibility for your own actions?
Sounds good to me.
Vodafone network…..
My friend went to Tasmania for a holiday. He was with Vodafone, and his cell phone has no signal for a week.
This is worth considering depending on intended use.
I've ended up buying a Telstra sim on holiday in a few regional areas. My partner's phone is on the Vodafone network and often loses reception before my phone on the Telstra network.
It's also well worth thinking about how the network will perform in areas you frequent.
During the pandemic, I tried tethering with a Vodafone sim and was getting between 3 and 7mbps. I assumed there was an issue but was assured that this was expected behaviour. Telstra OTOH, achieved 300mbps (I am near a tower).Well, I live in a well populated area of Newcastle, and Telstra service has been close to non-existent here, while our Internode/Vodafone services don't have a problem. It's been a problem across 4 suburbs, and recently addressed in one of those by Optus building a tower on top of a shopping centre, and giving Telstra access.
I've just recently activated a Felix mobile sim card which runs on Vodafone and I live in Newcastle I find the network works great and is less congested compared to Optus.
Decent price, but it looks like they're on the Vodafone network?
