Oof I just got a EDUP Wifi 6 PCI-E delivered and installed it a couple of hours ago, for the same price.
I think I would have preferred a brand name card.

I got a Fenvi one similar price not long ago, does the job well. Why neg the deal because you bought other one and have buyers remorse?

      • What speeds are you getting on your wireless to your router NBN?

Does the fenvi require a front usb slot on motherboard for Bluetooth?

        • I haven't checked the speeds since I installed it, but it is about as fast as it was with wired connection. Yes it needed a slot on the motherboard.

    • So why the neg?

      • Ahh I didn't originally neg it - must have fat fingered it.

    • I bought the EDUP wifi 6 pcie and it did not work on my HP G6 Elitedesk. Very disappointed with the purchase

      • Worked fine for me 🤷‍♂️

        • so whats wrong with mine? The lights are flashing so definitely there's power going into the card

  • any deals for a m.2 variant? I bought a new PC which has a wireless m.2 slot and want to utilise that instead of PCI-E

    • +1

if you enlarge the picture of OP's card at the link, you'll see it's actually just an m.2. card plugged into a pci card. it looks like you can unscrew the bigger card from the pci bracket and then plug the m2 card directly into your slot. however you would need to check the cable length to your slot

i got one and i must say i am NOT disappointed. I'm really happy with it

  • I’m glad that I waited for it to be on sale. Bought one, thanks OP.

  • Just wondering are this slower than ax3000 cards like Asus ax3000 or Tplink ax3000 which are similar price?

    • +1

No, it's the same Intel AX200 chipset in all of these

  • What sort of adapter do you use when the GPU is covering the second PCI-E slot?

    • -1

Go USB instead. Something like this from eBay for $21.90

      • This is completely different. Older version of Bluetooth AND wifi. I don't even know if there is a USB Wifi 6 adapter but it wouldn't be this cheap.

      • +1

USB Wifi adapters can’t even close compared to PCIE

        • -1

No one suggested that a USB adapter was better or equivalent to its PCIe brethren. In fact, cheap USB wifi adapters are more trouble than they're worth from my own experience.

The answer was in response to what alternatives are available when your GPU is blocking your remaining slot. A riser cable may also be an option if you're desperate but mounting that properly will most likely be a challenge.

          • @OSienna: Fwiw I was asking about how to create space at the PCI-E slot so I could use the card in this deal.

    • an expensive riser cable is all you can do

  • How is the Bluetooth on this? Good?

  • +1

I've brought one for my PC build and very happy with it. It should be mentioned that it requires a USB port from the motherboard though, along with the PCI-E. Reviews have stated this is for the Bluetooth connection.

    • Boo.. kinda defeats the purpose of going PCIe then. Might as well get a USB version for less - plus, it'll work on both laptops and desktops.

      • +1

It's can be from an internal USB header in your motherboard. It is just for Bluetooth as stated.

  • Used to have WiFi drop out issues during games on a tplink t6e card. Swapped to this card and no issues ever since.

Uses the Intel WiFi chip and Intel drivers so quite reliable

  • I'm having a really hard time getting a PCIE wifi 6 card to work on my HP Elitedesk G6. I've purchased EDUP wifi 6 and Asus PCE-ax3000 (wasted $110 already) and both does not get detected on my windows 10, it's like its not even there.

My Dlink DWA 582 is working perfectly fine, does anyone know what the problem is?
