Inwin A1 Plus ITX Case White/Black/Pink $199 + Delivery (or free pickup) @ BPC Tech

150

It is a nice ITX case that comes with a gold rated 650W PSU with cables long enough to reach most MB. It is usually $280 ($230 before the what shall not be named).

The QI charger (10W) at the top is one more powerful compared to the not plus version of the case. The charger works when the PC is off too.

It fits 2 120 fans at the bottom, 1 at the back, 1 at the side (think Lian Li O11 style). it comes with 2 ARGB fans from what I remember.

Tech Jesus named this "What if Ikea made cases". Ask away if you have any questions, I am a little bit of an ITX nerd so I can answer things. As an ITX nerd this case is good, it is small and it has decent airflow. 2.5 slot cards will fit in it from what I remember.

The plastic bottom, even though it looks not so nice in pics is looking quite amazing in the dark when it is lit up. It gives a floating case impression.

  • Looks good, and at $199 for and ITX with a gold rated PSU looks great.

Kinda wish they included a picture of a built unit rather than colour diagrams.
It isnt evident in the pictures, but I think there needs to be quite a gap behind the PSU shroud to fit an ITX mobo properly.

But still looks good for anyone looking to go ITX,

Man can case rgb just (profanity) die already

    • +2

      Just turn it off dude

    • but but, how will you know which fan is blowing hot air out and which fan is sucking cold air in!?!?

Got one of this 9 months ago for my friend. Nice case!
I wouldn't buy another one for any of my friend ago if I am the one building the computer, big pain.

    • Any worse than building in an InWin Chopin?

      • Not sure about chopin, the problem with this one is that with the ROG x570I mother board, most of the rgb connectors are on the top and it is way too hard to put it in without tool or it may come loose when you try to put in the mother board if you build outside the case.
Plus I was building for a friend and if anything went loose, I could not video chat her and let her fix it herself because it was too hard to see anything in a narrow dark space.

        • Ah I see, brings back memories of tight cabling.

          • @zrmx: otherwise a good looking case, just depends on how commited you are with your build

Its hard to recommend this case nowadays with the NR200 and SSUPD coming out soon.

    • +1

Eh the inclusion of a decent SFX power unit makes this ok value still if you like the look

      • +1

I got the recent combo package of the NR200 with an SF750 for roughly $70 more. I don't know man… if someone is budget conscious on a new PC, an ITX build is probably not the way to go.

    • +1

NR200 is $100 it comes without any PSU yet alone with a PSU with the correct size cables, and without any RGB fans (in case you are into that). it is also 50% bigger, it does not come with a tempered glass unless you go for the more pricier NR200P and then the total cost is even bigger.

SSUPD is again more expensive if you take into consideration the PSU. it also looks good in pictures until you realize that you will have 1 cable (or more) just coming out of the top (most pictures do not really show this).

I think all of them are for different people. I would use this in an ITX build for a friend that just wants something flashy, I would not use any of of them (A1, NR200 and SSUPD) for myself.

      • But why there will be 1 or more cables on top of ssupd case? You mean USB cable?

        • If you go for a full size PSU you will have video cables coming out of the top.

          • @misu p: That's only if you mount the GPU Horizontal (which limits the card length significantly), instead of vertical.

You can still have a Full size GPU mounted vertically (with cable come out the bottom) + an ATX Power Supply (even though it not the best configuration).

            • @RichardL: it comes with a 90 degree HDMI cable, you have to buy 90 degrees DP cable if you want a clean look (you can put it GPU cables down). Also I made a mistake, I wanted to say GPU not PSU in my comment above.

              • @misu p: If you have a short enough GPU, you can get away with short plug DP/HDMI Cable. But yeah, one of the major downside of the SSPUD Meshlicious is the lack of space between the GPU port and base.

      • +1

Yeah I get you, the A1 was my choice a few years back when I was considering an ITX build.

  • So it will only accommodate a single AIO cooler not a double? If I am reading it correctly?

    • I can probably put an AIO under the GPU, but I do not know if you can still put a decent size GPU in. What are you trying to put in there?

      • I would like a NZXT watercooler two fan unit in there, as am a watercooling fan

  • what would be a decent not over the top motherboard to go with this case. Looking for a ryzen 3600 build.
