Is it more a trial than a f2p wknd?
You have access to the full game and in theory can play through the whole lot. More than a demo. For example, on free to play weekends for Battlefield games I managed to finish the game in the free to play time as I only play single player and that normally takes about 8-10 hours in Battlefield or COD games.
Here it might take longer but if you are on it, you might be able to finish the single player campaign in the time.
After less than 40 hours without sleep you begin to hallucinate, so… Could get interesting

This weekend, from March 25 to 29, you can enjoy a Free Trial of Watch Dogs: Legion single-player campaign and Online Mode. Players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect can check out all the open-world activities, such as playing darts at the local pub and participating in bareknuckle fights, as well as explore four of the eight boroughs including the City of London and Lambeth. Additionally, you will be able to discover the game's storyline up to the Skye Larsen mission.

I know it's there somewhere, but when it doesn't show on searching the store I cannot be bothered fighting Sony's UI. On Xbox it was on the store page.

I’m on Xbox and I’m assuming I was to select “download free trial” which looks like the full game? The normal option to install still had the full price
Edit - looks like I’ve got the game installed and it’s showing the free play starts Friday morning at 4am
Can someone take pity on me and walk me through how to download this on PS5? I can see it on the Store but it seems to cost $50 to play.
There was a free trial or demo button on the xbox store - which allowed me to download the whole game. Usually the purchase/install button is what I have to click when there is a free play game but this still had the full price and I had to click the demo button instead to pre-download.
If you're struggling to find it on the PS5 store, try adding it through the browser or PS app.

You can click add to library and even download automatically if PS5 is linked and in rest mode.
I've downloaded the trial and playing on my ps5, is anyone getting the adaptive triggers feedback? It's almost like I've got the ps4 version on my ps5
I have a feeling that the trial that is available is only the PS4 or Xbox One versions. On my Series X, it doesn't have the X|S logo.

It has a trial logo on mine however it’s grouped with the series X/S games so I think it’s the series X version

It's a 50 hour game if you want to get the platinum. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
