The 40th anniversary of the release of willy wonka & the chocolate factory has been and gone (where did the years go? And Amazon US have a good deal on a neat little box set with goodies, although I really would have loved a real wonka bar lol!

• sniffable pencils + eraser (finally get to smell a snozberry)

there is only 100,000 of these released, so not sure what kind of stock levels Amazon US will have

im not sure about any region locking, especially for the blu ray

    In HD, it'll still be SD blurry, but it will have a higher quality of blurriness that can only be achieved with quality post processing video software.

  Noticed in one of the other unboxing vids the golden ticket prize (trip to LA etc.) is still valid until Feb 3, but only open to residents of the US and Canada.

    Too bad if someone from outside those countries won it although I guess they could try and eBay it.
    Wonder how many boxes are bought not to be opened (and hence may hold a winning ticket)- The fan's/collectors dilemma, open/use it or keep it pristine ;-)
