I am considering moving from superloop to future broadband. I was wondering what was your experience with them?

There's some comments/discussion in previous deals as well, although they are quite old now.
There is a $50 signup fee that you can reduce to $35 with a referral. No I don't have one.
FB have a requirement of VLAN 802.1q on all types of NBN except FTTP and fixed wireless. Check that your router config supports VLAN 802.1q or else you will have to purchase a new router or switch.
I can't speak for the operation of their plans but have dealt with their customer service team. Our family were looking into getting nbn and signed up to one of their plans about 6 wks ago. Prices seemed reasonable and they offer a discount if you prepay 6 months ahead. A couple of days before our scheduled nbn install I contacted future as I hadn't heard anything. They informed me the appointment date we booked through fbb on signup 3 wks prior had not been approved by nbn (I thought fbb should have let me know earlier if this was the case).
FBB said we would have to choose a new setup appointment (thus having to wait a couple more weeks). The nbn tech came for the install but discovered we had no signal and thus he couldn't install. I contacted fbb the following day. They said they would cancel the plan and we'd receive confirmation email and refund later that day. 2 wks on we are yet to hear back. Obviously as you are already on nbn you wouldn't have to go through the setup process so hopefully things would be much smoother.
By all accounts, and from what I have read fbb customers are happy with their speeds and reliability. I found it easy enough to contact them via online chat, although they appear to be a bit slack with processing orders, letting customers know of changes, and following up etc.
Yes, I think about a year now. They are good, no dropouts for me. Use the link above for a referral $35 off code if you join.
Hey could you PM me the referral, I can't see it.
cheers
Is the speed you are getting with them similar to your previous provider?
The estimate seems lower for me…
Did a speedtest late last night and now. Both were 96.7 down and 37.8 up FTTC
Matching older results at different times as well. Also check the deal posted as one of the other offers might suit you

FBB is excellent. We have been with them for 2.5 years (on two connections). Constant speeds. Excellent reliability/stability. Static IP included. Personable and knowledgeable local customer support. Prices are very reasonable for the service you receive.
Here is their latest offer: https://whrl.pl/RgfptI
I have signed up. Easy and smooth transition for now.
For those who are thinking of choosing one of the plans with data banking, until the 30th of April, when you use a referral code, apart from the $35 discount, you get a massive 3500GB of bonus data (instead of the normal 1000GB). This is on top of the 2000GB of bonus data you get on signup. So, until the 30th of April, you can start off with 5500GB in total in your data bank.
I should add that you can only apply one discount code on signup. So, whichever deal you choose, you cannot combine it with another. Pick the one that suits you best. This will differ from person to person, depending on their requirements.
I'm a customer of Future Broadband as well. First went with them some years ago when they first started up. Its been a solid, reliable, always fast internet connection. They have innovative plans with data banking and the included routed static IP address is a bonus.
The only neg would be the sign up fee which can be offset with the current special Ozimarco linked to above or if not interested in an 'unlimited' plan a referral voucher for one of the data banking ones..
I have previously been with Aussie and Superloop and have no complaints about them but I just find the overall value and reliability to be better at Future.
Superloop I did like price wise but contacting support was a chore.
Check out Future Broadband's end of financial year offer:
New customers who sign up before June 30 2021 will get $65 off their 3rd invoice if they use the code EOFY2021 during signup. This discount negates the $50 signup fee and puts you slightly in front. If you buy any hardware on signup, you get another $25 off for a total saving of $90. Full details here: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9kpyy6n7
This is even better than using a referral code. The deal expires on June 30.
Some nice improvements coming up at FBB. From next month, signup fee will be reduced to $35, thereby equalling the referral discount.
A couple of additional new plans:
The first is an NBN12/1 plan with 300gb of data plus flatrate national/mobile voip for $45pm.
The second is an NBN100/20 plan flatrate data for $95pm (no VoIP).
As we already know, FBB no longer requires VLAN tagging.
All plans include a static IP as standard, something other RSPs charge for.
The 12/1 plan can be ordered now, allowing you to take advantage of the EOFY deal.
This plan would suit many pensioners. Details here: https://whrl.pl/RghGH5
The NBN100-20-HOME-FAST-Unlimited (No Phone) – $ 95 Per Month plan can now be ordered as well if you want to take advantage of the EOFY deal: https://whrl.pl/RghN9Y. If you want this deal, you must act immediately (like today) but you can nominate a future connection date.
If you miss out on the EOFY deal, not to worry. From the 1st of July, the setup fee will be reduced to $35 so that the referral discount will cancel out the setup fee completely.
In other news, applying for IPv6 will no longer attract a $10 one-off charge.
FBB is looking more attractive than ever. Fixed Wireless plans have also been improved. VLAN tagging no longer applies so one less thing to worry prior to signup.
edit: one less thing to worry about prior to signup. The edit window had expired, forcing me to post a new comment.
As of today, the 1st of July, 2021, the signup bonus for databanking plans (i.e. quota-limited plans) has been increased to 2500GB. This data bank is drawn on every time a customer exceeds their monthly quota. Any unused quota for the month is added to the data bank up to a limit of 15000GB.
As most of you already know, the signup fee has been reduced from $50 to $35.
If you use a referral code on signup, you will get $35 off your next invoice plus an additional 1000GB for your data bank.
In summary, when you sign up for a databanking plan using a referral code, you will initially pay a $35 signup fee and get 2500GB of data for your data bank. When you get your first invoice, you will get a $35 referral discount plus an additional 1000GB for your data bank.
Yes, They are excellent, 2 free static IPs, Cheap data blocks, and great speeds.
Only issue is no weekend support, but if your techy you probably aren't calling support anyway
