Chivas Regal 15 Year Old XV Blended Scotch Whisky is rich and sweet with concentrated notes of stewed red apples, homemade orange marmalade, honey, cinnamon and moist juicy sultanas. Tasting notes: Incredibly smooth and fruity with flavours of poached pears intermingled with butterscotch and caramel toffees all rolled up in a wonderful velvety texture. Rounded off with a touch of vanilla on the finish. Comes in a 700 ml bottle.

  The standard chivas is so awful that they've done brand damage - I would never risk buying any of their aged stuff. Even though this looks like a good price and frankly $60 doesn't buy anything good these days

    $60 will get you a bottle of Cutty Sark Prohibition, which is supposed to be very good.

    Naked Grouse is a good buy for $55 or so.

    Johnnie Walker Green when it's on special for $65-$70 is excellent.
